Milot Rashica signing for Norwich for 9.4 million is a coup and if he transitions well to the prem could be one of the signings of the season. Think we missed a trick here. Especially at claret and Hugh linked us yo the 30 year old tom cairney for 10m if we don't get lingard. Which I hope to god isn't in the thinking of Moyes.

I don't understand the Cairney link either. There was lots of hype around him years ago but the truth is he really isn't good enough for the Premier League.

Spending £10M for a player who'll be 31 this season, with no sell on value, a dodgy knee and only 2 non-competitive Scotland caps in the last 4 years would be a gargantuan mistake and a real slap in the face for the fans who are expecting signings who can take us towards the Champions League rather than the Championship.

So is Snoddy but Moyes was quick enough to offload him. and limited as he is, he's still a better player than Cairney!
