Who is the idiot that recons David Moyes has done nothing at West Ham, I hope a lot of WH supporters think like me that he has done a decent job and is still building a side that can complete in the premiership.
Lets be honest we can't expect to to build like M/ City, Man/ U. Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs who have the financial clout that we don't have, but we can give the six a good game.
We all dream of doing what Leicester done.

Remember that what Leicester has done is recruit well and then sell their best players for top money and then recruiting well again.

Kante, Drinkwater (! ), Maguire, Mahrez, Chilwell all sold for very big money.

Doing a Leicester probably means selling Rice.

Would you sell Rice to get : Abrahams, Oxlo Chamberlain and Loftus Cheek?

We'd have to consider it.

Abrahams valued at 40m ox 20m and Loftus cheek is injury prone and huge wages so what's he worth 15m? That would put rices value at 75m and he's worth a lot more than that and his wages are a lot less. He's younger and plays in most important position.

Should be no rush to sell rice in my opinion build around him he's the future of our club.

IronAl, how do you try to hang on to a player that may want to go, there’s a number of things they can do no matter how much contract is left?
Arnautovic a classic example, Rice certainly hasn’t got anywhere near his personality of course to do that, But look at Kane now trying to force a move through with a couple of years left on his contract!
None of them want to put a written request in as they will lose out, shame, they could do with the money! Also by not putting in a request, it almost exonerates them from disloyalty! âš’âš’âš’.

Of course depends on what the players want. You can see that he loves it here. Depends how he sees it though he could continue to develop here and be the first name on the team sheet playing regular he might also be persuaded by the club having a vision and bringing in other talented young players to grow with the club, that seems like the most suitable model for a club that can't just go out and spend a fortune on players that are the finished article.

Kane is almost 28 the finished article and wants to play at a club competing at the very highest level.

I could understand Rice wanting to do the same but I think it makes sense for all involved to wait a little while longer. If he goes to city chances are he will rotated might slow his development but then again training and playing with a team of world class players could also help him develop to the next level.

Lots of factors to consider what I don't want us is spending the money on players that have little resale value. Like we've done a lot previously.
