So 1 game down and we all feel despondent not surprising because there was no effort from the whole team

Around this time last year I posted about the stats that say since the 1970s WHU have been relegated every 7 - 9 years sadly we are in the 9th season since our last promotion.

I would love to think that come May 2021 we are still a PL Club but I keep looking at those stats - someone cheer me up please.

{Ed047's Note - sorry I’ve got nothing

Things will improve. Remember our last games once the league resumed.

Thanks Ed for trying lol.

{Ed047's Note - sorry mate, I watched the game and I just couldn’t get anything positive.

I guess offloading Wilshere will be a plus though. 🤷‍♂️

Last season we got hammered 5-0 at home first game. Yes by a much better side than Newcastle, but then we went on a run and all looked rosie. Then we couldn't get a point to save ourselves. Then the break, first couple of games it all looked over, then we found a bit of form at the right time and did it with a game to spare and really with a couple of games from an all but mathematical point of view. My point? It is a long season, a lot will happen and the despondency you might feel today will be wiped out when we get a shock result at Anfield or something. That's West Ham, always has been.
