Does anyone think Fornals should play before Anderson. I have to say I was impressed how much better he is getting a run - he seems to be more of a team player than Anderson

Interesting. If MP sticks with the Antonio/ Haller combo and tells Anderson that if he doesn’t cross, he doesn’t play, maybe that’ll install the discipline he needs. Fornals is certainly improving and works hard, but his lack of pace is a concern.

I think FORNALS is a no10 and not a winger . COYI.

Yeah but in a 442 there's no no10 unless he plays right up alongside Haller in a Sheringham role
I would drop Snods and try Anderson again tbh.

I think Antonio is perfect for haller up front, he hassles defenders and is everywhere, my only concern is that he chases back too much for that role!
Maybe snodgrass and Anderson could do some donkey work and look interested, might help the team a tad.
Team fell apart when we lost Antonio and Fabianski, once Fabianski gets in the sticks again I am sure the defence will look more solid! A good keeper is always talking to his defence and that’s our problem of late, the keeper sees the whole pitch and can tell defenders where to be, not hadthatthe last two months. C0YI.

I played footall at a fair level barnie mate I do know there's not a no 10 in a 4-4-2 the answer is in the formation what I'm getting at is if he sticks with a 4-4-2 then I personally don't think both ANDERSON OR FORNALS are out and out wingers in fact I'd be staggered if either one were they haven't got the pace IMO and watch ANDERSON he normally cuts inside rather than go down the line as he hasn't got a left foot and playing on the left which he does, any right footed winger ain't going to hit the bye-line as when he gets there he can't cross the ball you can play other systems than a 4-4-2 that means playing 2 up front mate the system I like is a 3-4-1-2 and you can play it like a 5 at the back or play about with like a 5-2-1-2they operate in very similar set up 's but different without the ball. Im with Worya, try a 3 at the back system. Cress/ Masu and Freds/ Zaba are all natural playing out wide and can look for the overlap, play them as wing backs and let them be the ones who offer the width. Then play Micha and Haller up front along with a third player (Anderson/ Yarmo/ Lanzini/ Diangana/ Fornals) .
With the wing backs offering the width, the three front men are more able to get closer to one another and cause havoc. Antonio's strength and power menaces defences, Hallers strength and finishing along with his ability to let players work off him, and a third player who's more technical and quicker means defenders have to worry about ALL kinds of attacks, not just one. Its harder to prepare for all types of player than it is to prepare to face one type.
Fornals looks like he is getting more to grips with the league these last few games, sometimes i think he is more suited to playing Nobles role, but i don't know if he has the defensive reading of the game to play that deeper role.
