Not great today 1-0 to Newcastle but still early days. Don't like our left side. Ogbonna not good or cresswell. Midfield slow too many cross the pitch balls and no great threat. But hey goid run out to get match fit.

Reid ogbonna and cresswell were all very poor on and off the ball. Cullen was abit of a passenger first half with slight improvement in the second. Hernandez offered nothing.

Johnson looked solid though and looks like he could be good cover for both RB and LB and could push for a starting place throughout the season. Looks like we will be starting our season with Mausuaku and Frederick's as our full backs.

When mausuaku got back into the team he was solid for the remainder of the season just you feel with him their is always a mistake waiting to happen.

Someone like Tierney would be ideal for us can play CB and LB. It's clear we need to invest more in the defensive side of the team.

Noble is invaluable to the team
But we need quality midfielders so we can rotate him and sub him when winning easily
Obiang was ok but the £8M is better for funding reinforcements .
Doubt we will have such luck when trying to rid ourselves of Sanchez who had to be the worst midfielder in the league. We may be lucky and some mug may sign him ad we get his wages off the salary roll . If they please let’s pay him u and breathe a sigh of relief that he will never wear a West Ham shirt again . I just can’t believe he gets in the Colombian side, maybe he is rodgering the coach?
