Whether its Amorin, Potter or whoever. We all know Moyes is leaving now. Moyes has been superb for our club, and we ALL need to remember that fact. I wish him all the best in his next venture. Looking forward to Saturday.

Ridiculous. No he hasn’t. He was brought in to prevent the drop, which he did. Given the amount of money he was handed after that, his record has been one of divisive argument. He was in charge when the pool of talented players won a third tier trophy against average opposition at best. His style of football has seen the loss of enthusiasm by thousands of fans. If he had been “superb”, then why are there so man WHU fans who cannot wait to see the back of him, and why do most agree it’s “time to move on”? I, and thousands of others, can’t wait for him to go and bring this nightmare to an end.

Tinlegs, whoever you are, obviously you had no interest in us winning a '3rd tier' cup? I celebrated it. As did MANY thousands who lined the streets. It lead us to the Europa League! We have had some excellent nights at the London Stadium; and winning in AZ Alkmaar was a night to remember - due to the 'third tier cup'. The first Conference final was Roma and Feyenoord. the second ourselves and Fiorentina, this years I feel will be Villa v Fiorentina. I am sure each of those clubs will value the trophy. Sadly, you do not. Moyes has done a great job for our club. People, like yourself, have short memories. very short. When he arrived we were in a SHOCKING STATE. Yet, he leaves us with a reasonable pool of players, and hopefully, the new manager can progress us again. Well done Moyes, and good luck to the next manager.

He’s spent nearly half a billion quid and we have one of the smallest and oldest first team squads in the league! The fan base has never been more divided. Had our tea lady been in charge last year, we would still have won that trophy. We were clear favourites from the start as the opposition teams were very weak. Our league positions under Moyes have been woeful, given the money spent. Finally, if the Moyes era has been so good, why do so many people want to see the back of him and will celebrate when he’s finally gone?

I believe Moyes has a net loss of £360m over the last 4.5 years, average £90m each year When you consider Chelsea spent 1 billion last season, it does not read too bad.

£90m a year and ended up with the smallest and eldest squad in the premier league which is why we now have no legs at the end of the season so that worked well didn;t it. let's sell all our players off and get no replacements. great strategy and how many windows have we screamed about needing a striker, full backs, more depth in the squad etc and MOYES vetoed it, so, am sorry, but, comparing us to CHelsea don't wash

Well said, Daisy. The Moyes apologists (albeit so few in number) are grabbing at straws, and to compare our situation to Chelsea is a complete joke and sign of desperation. Brooking10 (or whatever name you currently choose to call yourself) is making a last gasp effort to convince us that the Moyes era was wonderful because we got to play games against some lower grade European opposition! We won a trophy everyone and his mother expected us to win anyway. At last the numpty that is David Moyes is on his bike, and it can’t come soon enough, just like thousands of WHU fans have been crying out for! Yeah, Brooking10, Moyes has been superb. Hilarious.

And for a truthful assessment of the “superb” David Moyes, just watch Claret and Booze Gary’s daily ramble “Amorim Latest - Good Riddance Moyes - Moyes Lies” on YouTube. Now that IS an accurate review of Moyes’ time at WHU.

Tinlegs, you appear obsessed with calling me another name. You mentioned it last week. I have no idea who you have upset, but it appears to have affected you quite badly.

I am a TRUE fan and attend all home games and many away games, therefore, I am entitled to my opinion. This site should be named West Ham Banter As Long As You Agree With Tinlegs.

Brooking10, I have never said or intimated that you cannot share your opinions. To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, but plain daft, as most can clearly see. However, I do reserve the right to disagree with those opinions when I think they are wrong. This is not a form of censorship as you suggest, but it is the basis for debate, and that is what a forum for discussion and banter is all about. If you don’t like it - tough.

Too right, Daisy. And this is a clear indication of the divide created by the "superb" David Moyes among the best supporters in the country. COYI!

Anyway, back to David Moyes -
The incompetent Moyes has known he’s toast for several weeks. That’s why he came out with that bullsh*t “I’ve been offered a contract and the decision is mine”. He cannot abide the realisation that he was being pushed. That also explains the onslaught of media pundits all coming out at the same time in support of their old mate Moyes. Sorry boys, but the writing’s been on the wall for several weeks now.
My problem with this is, how does the buffoon motivate a team that knows he’s yesterday’s news? Why won’t the board get rid of this particular piece of dead wood now and replace him with a caretaker coach (Heitinga)? The sooner Moyes goes, the better.
