All down to poor recruitment AGAIN. Why do we never get it right? All summer long we are linked with players who we always underbid for and then we always have the same epic only for it to fall flat and then we panic buy? Look at Brighton for instance. Moyse doesn’t understand quality footballers. He can manage the willing runners, but hasn’t a clue how to handle the skilful.

When all that money was available in the summer, he was like a kid in a sweet shop: wide-eyed and didn’t know where to look.
