If you consider the sheer volume of players leaving WH end of May ( for a variety and assortment of different reasons ) we must have some replacements lined up already in some cases, otherwise the numbers will be impossible to replace in those 12 weeks leaving at the present time, Fabianski, Johnson, Aguerd, Zouma, Cresswell Paqueta, Cornet, Mubama, Ogbonna , With Benharama being confirmed will make 10 out and the squad is two short anyway! , so 12 players needed it's ridiculous, but on paper that's how its shaping up we either have deals done or some won't be leaving after all this, , might be the busiest window in history coming up

{Ed002's Note - No "deals" have been "done" for West Ham.}

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. It's reasonably safe to assume that if moyes is still in charge (and from everything I've recently heard, he intends going nowhere) our interests will lie firmly at the door of man utd and players they deem surplus, instead of letting Tim Steidten continue to do what he is good at! But are we surprised?

Just look at the last window? Moyes wanted Phillips (who by the way is ranked as the lowest performing midfielder in the league and our joint highest earner) so he got him. Waste of a window because of dithering dave? Sooner he is gone the better

The idea of bringing in a defensive midfielder was the correct one. Given the amount of cards Alvarez gets. But we also needed a striker. Both should have came into the club in January.

And Flynn Downes is flying at Southampton

Hammer7580. Yes, we may have needed a defensive midfielder but there were better options out there, especially considering his wages!

Well downes and Freddie Potts should have been kept if so . Moyes is the issue.

Kalvin Philips is an England international. Most fans thought his signing would be a good signing, the wages are irrelevant. It is not the players fault we agreed to pay his wages.Unfortunately, it has not worked. End of story.
