My prediction if he joins is that he will play a few games in the U23s and not do a lot initially but then will have some flashes of brilliance score a couple of goals and people will suggest he should get some first team games. He will then get a little niggling injury that will keep him out for three or four weeks and then will get back into the u23s and do well. Deep in a relegation battle Moyes won’t want to risk him in the first team and will say he isn’t ready yet. Start of next season he will play a couple of league cup ties and maybe an appearance in the league off the bench but will back non the 23s. A few more sub appearances a couple of injury spells and the loan period will be over and he won’t have shown enough. He will then join Celia Vigo or some such side and go on to win the Europa League and start to get international caps. He will then be picked up by a Champions League side and be a mainstay if their midfield - such is West Hams experience with international young players - I hope it’s different but I do not think we will ever see the best of these players we bring in as “starlets” and “one for the future”.
