Hi fellas WELL I have mixed news KEItTA could be on again as WH are trying to convince player THIS is the reason they are holding up on JOTA funnily enough I. Said similar in an answer today we will have to see how this plays out IRONMIKE.

Feeling optimistic keita Jimenez ndiaye Wilshire and smalling next please. Get rid of feghouli Snodgrass possibly we could recoup some of the money on fonte aswell and ayew wouldn't be needed so he could go.

Keep Feghouli in my opinion. Really started to find his feet the latter half of the season.

We would have some team with arnoutovic, Hernandez, Jimenez, keita, ndiaye, wilshire top 6 finish 👌😁, the business we have done so far is really and more quality added to our squad so I will happily eat my hat for moaning at the lack of business we did a week or so ago.

Smalling kieta/ jota, wilshere nd ndiaye along with arnoutovic Hernandez and hart would be like a whole new team.

I would be very happy with smalling kieta and wilshere. Imagine our line up.

Got nothing against feghouli he played some good stuff towards the end, created some chances scored a few assisted a few and was in and out of the team. But if he had to go to make way for the others then he's gone for me.

That would be a quality team right there lots of options not only could we do well in the league we could have a real go out the cups.

I'm certainly being hopeful but why not I think we have surprised a few people already let's keep it going.

I do think that big money will go on Keita or Jimenez I wonder if both were happy to come would we bring in both. That would certainly be a statement of intent.

Hi Ironmike. What has changed that the signing of Keita could still be on? I haven't seen or heard anything that could be construed as a change of circumstances. Surely if the lad doesn't want to leave Italy for England then the status quo would remain the same?

I think Carroll should remain with us. When he is fit and used sparingly he's a great player and an impact player. sakho yes, get rid. He's injury prone and is too sulky for my liking.

Don't get me wrong I'll be bowled over if we get Keita! Mike, you say we're holding up Jota to see if we can get Keta to sign. This is where I'm getting confused with the whole Keita thing. Surely if he's signed you would expect him to start, he normally plays on the left wing or as a striker. Arnautovic has signed as a Left Winger/ Striker for a club record so you would expect him to start. Hopefully if we get Hernandez he will definitely start upfront. So if Keita comes in does he go upfront with Hernandez? Or does he play in the left wing position as he has done for Lazio, meaning Arnautovic is benched? We also have Ayew who is capable of playing from the left or off the striker. Jota normally plays on the Right or more central so I was thinking he was being brought in to replace Feghouli and act as a decent squad player for when Antonio or Lanzini are injured, need a rest or under performing. I'd love to know what the board/ Bilic were thinking. 2 up front? maybe a 442 diamond which served us well a couple of years back. I would imagine Hernandez needs to play off a striker to get the best out of him.

No hammerdave we need the strongest bench possible it ain't just about the eleven on the pitch and this way we can rotate our squad instead of relying on the same eleven each week it would be a nice change for us to tweak the team about resting one or two now and then I'm not talking about four or five a week that never happens but one or two would work.

We wouldn't need jota if we signed the others. Fonte can go aswell.

That's a nice line-up Dave lanzini can always drop in to help out obiang if needs be.

It would be no doubt a very strong bench and a very strong squad all competing for places hopefully that works in our favour and gets the best out of the players and we can push up the league who knows we could even get Europe and actually have a squad built ready for it.

Now personally I'd say they are all upgrades similar amount of players coming in that's left. And to think last season our squad was stretched with the injurys and the players coming in couldn't cut it. If you want to compete for the entire season and actually have the top teams looking over their shoulder I think that's what we have to do.

We will just have to wait now and see if they can be persuaded!
