8? It certainly sounds like we are trying to clear out any deadwood or players that aren't happy. I do hope that SB sorts the defence out for next year and N'Koulou and Ogbonna would an ideal CB pairing.

HI phil, yes the time for carrying deadwood is gone we must have a viable squad, not just bodies on a team sheet, Nordvielt, very good signing, I've seen him play at RB as well, Do you remember when I said the next three windows, are the most important in the clubs history, I will stick by that, by the time this window is closed, and we kick off the squad will be virtually unrecognisable, from the old set up, thank goodness for that! IRONMIKE.

we will have a squad of 250 at this rate! thanks for the info mike as always, on the CB front will reece Burke go out on loan again this year? I think we have good CB just seems we are unorganised the ginger Pele sorts this out when he plays just thinking if Randolph wants out do we go for a new no 1 GK adrian is a great shotstopper but not sure how good he is at positioning his defence if you see the top goalies Tey are constantly telling defenders where they want them as are the Collins type CB my point is I think we need one or the other we looked way better with ginge in the side and I don't think he's miles better than reid as a player.

Hi Red, I personally think the CB positions in general are giving SB a headache, Tomkins, ginge, ogbonna and Reid, are all good, BUT not outstanding, do we stick or twist? The RB and LB positions will be covered, the CBS, needs a lot of thought, for sure, Reece Burke, is he now ready?, IF he is why are we looking at CBS, The last two or three games, have encapsulated our season, stoke should have been 3up by HT, no finishers, Randolph, should have saved Imbullas shot from that distance, Adrian would have, Randoph was the cause of man united second goal, by not squeezing space at the near post, CBS were hopeless against swansea lessons have been taken on board, it's clear what we need, go get them Fellas, IRONMIKE.

On the goalkeeper front, go out and sign Alisson from Brazilian club Internacional. He is a superb talent, only 23 years old and already has 4 caps for Brazil. Definite contender for a starting place ahead of Adrian.

I find it strange that a defence that did so well earlier in the season at Anfield, Emirates the Etihad have started leaking like a sieve. Am not convinced with Adrian or Randolph and I believe we need better (just look at how many points Schmeichel and De Gea have saved this season especially De Gea in a poor Manchester United side that struggled) . Starting at the back we need a GOOD goalie. We're ok with CResswell but what if he gets injured. Tomkins I'm afraid I have never been convinced with (yes, I know, some of you disagree) . Reid is ok but not good with the ball over his shoulder. Ogbonna has done really well in his first season and Collins always gives 110% but is proned to the odd critical error. RB as we all know seriously needs work. Byram is ok but might not yet be ready for the premier league. Midfield is good and forwards are shocking. Valencia and Eminike clearly can't be bothered, SAKHO has show he can be a real pain in the backside and AC has another injury (again) . Presonally I'd get rid of them all and start again.

Collins is good at organising the defence, but let's face it, he's getting on a bit! 33 this summer. How many great seasons has he left in him? It would be gutting to see Reece go! I also wonder why, if he's as good as they say, he's not been thrown in the mix? If game-time is his big concern, then why would he consider going to Man City, where they'll bench him like they do with all developing talent?

As regards keepers, I think Adrian is top. He's made a few mistakes this season, but generally speaking, he's one of the best shot-stoppers in the league. He's been let down by his defence. Randolph doesn't seem good enough.
