WH, have ( for now at least ) walked away from Kilman deal, Wolves not moving down from 42 m, basic, plus 5 m add ons, WH won't go that high, lot of time wasted, Wolves not pressed for money, Whilst WH have prevaricated and been told that 14 m not enough for Philogene at Hull Everton have stepped in with 17 m bid, lots going on but nothing positive except. Danny Ings, could go on the same bus as Downes to Saints, if WH can. Sort out the maths, Kyle WP, is earning 20 k a week, on the coast, so no probs with wage, WH looking for 7 m in cash between, Downes and Kwp, saints less than 5m, but can be done, Ings will want a payoff to leave, owing to disparity between his wage, and saints wage offered, but huge wage saving for WH, 6 .5 m plus 5 m for the player, they can pull in 8/9 m over the season, after paying Ings off

Jake O’Brien would be a decent signing in my opinion.

Regarding the Max Kilman deal falling through, personally I understand why we are “walking away” for the time being. £45 million is a big chunk of our budget and if they aren’t willing to compromise, there will be cheaper options out there. Calafiori from Bologna is one that I would be all over!

This transfer window will be tough. We all knew that.
The TS approach to transfer is not buying players at their peak. Over the next few windows we will have influx of players on the fringe. Every transfer is a Risk, just need the manager utilise the player correctly.
July will be a big transfer month.

Calafiori is a pipe dream. He has much better options than WH let’s be honest although WH may offer more playing time. Also don’t imagine he’d be much cheaper given the amount of interest in him (Chelsea, Juventus, Liverpool etc) also believe he wants to stay in Italy on top of all that.
