We're only 20 minutes into the game, but the lad Kante is so far off the pace. Many on here wanted him to start recently. glad he hasn't. He looks like a player who could do with a loan to a championship or 1st division side. He may look different on tv.

Yeah I was one whenever I’ve seen him play for the youth team he always seemed like a men amongst boys and he has a great shot on him but I’ve heard today he hit the ball into the next town

As is often the case when you rest/ change so many players, getting them to operate as a team is going to take time for them to gel. Add the worry that they're relying on Kilman at the back and maybe don't want to take any risks.


Biggest mistake has to be returning to the 5 at the back system, playing a defensive set up against a team bottom of the 3rd tier is an embarrassment.
Don't our under 21s face stiffer competition in their cup games?

I’ve got to say I don’t think Kilman had a bad game! It’s indicative that this is his true level. More like £4.50 than £45 million.

It sounded like a dreadful game, with dreadful tactics against absolute minors. The only thing that was decent was the result, I’m not someone who usually says that but in cup completions that is the case. If you get lucky with the draw you can do that 5 times and you can be in a final. But not a good day at the office today.

What did we expect, to go there and win comfortably, because I didn’t! We won!
I’d have been happy to see us lose to concentrate on the PL but we didn’t, they wanted our scalp but didn’t get it!
Yes a few were dodgy, those that a number on here had been clamouring to play, no they’re not on todays performance!
Potts card never a red for me, no malice whatsoever, that should be overturned!
Need a result against Bournemouth but can’t see it happening, that could define us staying or going depending on other results of course!

Tin, in regards to Kilman, I was simply stating that having him in the team is unlikely to inspire confidence further forward.
