The first half was good, Summerville looked excellent with AWB behind him. We paid the price for not having fit forwards and the referees poor eyesight. Overall, we looked more like a team. I feel hopeful and Potter bring confidence.

Agreed mate, losing fullkrug and summerville made a big diffence both looked good while they were on.

I think as the game become more stretched in the second half our lack of pace in midfield became even more evident.

With todibo injured and mavro coming off with a head injury we need a CB, CDM/CM and a striker minimum and we need them quick.

We lost the game when Summerville went off, coufal just cannot cut it anymore!
Kilman is an embarrassment at £40m or whatever we paid for him, I don’t know a slower defender in the premier league I am afraid. Scarles looked great and that was a big plus in that game.

Coufal was brought on as cover for AWB moving forward, but he’s just not up to the job. Soucek was anonymous, Alvarez jumped in far too early several times. We all know Dino’s shortcomings, but £40 million for Kilman was daylight robbery. Ings looked pissed off his kip on the bench was interrupted.

The starting XI were very good and the first half (or first 20 mins) looked like we were going to win. Then fate took a hand and we lost Füllkrug (who showed what he can do) and Summerville. The ref was disgraceful. Game over.

In just 45 mins we showed what this team can do. Yes, we need some new blood urgently, but things are looking up. My boy Scarles looked a future star. Apart from the injuries and dead wood, I’m feeling good about the future.
