5 home wins on the trot for the first time in 10 years. Hardly a mention of a decent 3 points on here. Get behind the team, or stay sat in your armchair. Yesterday was cruise control and we are now 8 points off Champions League. We are on the up…

Well, not all of us can physically get to the ground anymore, so we don’t have much choice but to be armchair supporters. That doesn’t mean we don’t have the right to voice our opinions. I respect your point of view, even though I don’t agree with it, and if you are happy to watch mistakes being made week in, week out, and to accept mediocraty, then that is your right and your choice. Me? I prefer to see the team I’ve supported since 1963 get some return on the vast sums of money spent to improve the squad.

Well if that was cruise control, that must have been when you were watching ManC! That’s not my opinion! 3 points yes all good, but it ends there for me!⚒⚒⚒⚒

Spot on tinlegs funny we win and mikesiron pops up talking nonsense 8points off of champions league do me a favour we are a million away from the champions league AFC were shocking and their best player and only threat went off injured early on,first half was decent but we then so predictably MOYES style sat back and invited them on and on our second half display against any other team we IMO would have been pegged back and he's doing it again playing DOWNES out of position rather than dropping SOUCEK who I thought was one of our better players last night, how many times does CRESSWELL give the ball away BOWEN didn't have a good game again and the player I've been screaming for to get a run in the team was our best player in BENRHAMA last night I couldn't work out where DOWNES was playing as he was the furthest forward out of him and RICE and SOUCEK,also JOHNSON scares the life out of me at the back doing Cruyff turns when he's our last defender and when AUGERD is fit then he comes in and KEHRER takes the right back spot although I think he's a better C/B,and if that's cruise control its exactly the opinion of a MOYES superfan.

You don’t agree that we are on the up and that yesterday we were in cruise control? It’s a fact that we are 10th TinLegs. That doesn’t change whether you go to the ground or not.

we are 8 points from 4th, that’s a fact. It’s in black and white. The sentiment on this website is not representative of the teeing within the stadium.

MikesIron,
My point is that although we’d love to go to the ground, some of us can no longer do that for any number of reasons. I can assure you that I’ve probably personally attended more home and away matches than you. I queued outside the Boleyn in short trousers to watch the likes of Ken Brown, Ronnie Boyce and Budgie Byrne every Saturday for as long as I can remember. When I was old enough, my mum allowed me to travel to every away game. There’s not much you can tell me about attending football matches. I just wish my health would still allow me to cheer the lads on. So please don’t preach to me about armchair support.

Yes, you’ve made your point about your health TinLegs, and that you are older than me. Like I say, the attitude of the fans at the stadium is not reflected on this site. I think posters here should be careful what they wish for. Moyes took us over when relegation was a real concern. I don’t mind people asking for change, but with who? Forget the likes of Pochettino and Tuchel, if you think they are coming to West Ham you really are in dreamland. Moyes is building, our squad is now full of international players coming into their best years. Keep the faith, there is no question that under Moyes we have progressed as a club. I don’t understand what fans on here want. Spent close to £200M, improved the squad, spent it well in my opinion. Semi finals of a European competition last year, let’s not forget we have also been desperately unlucky so far this season also. We are not Coventry, or Sunderland. We have plenty to smile about right now but you wouldn’t guess it if you read this website.

Well, God forbid somebody on here should have a different opinion to you MikesIron. Get over yourself. On the up, really. Why then does moyes still field lineups against man city, Liverpool etc to.limit damage and not have a go? He is so defensive and yet, we have two of the worst full backs in the league. You reckon we were coasting against Bournemouth? Afraid not, because at 1-0 we were sitting back, as usual and we could easily have conceded.

I think you will find that I am the one who gets the stick for having a different opinion to everybody else.

Mike iron. I agree with you. We are improving, and that’s good enough.

We are 8 points off top 4 but we are also only 5 points off the very bottom.

League is so tight at the moment the main thing is we are picking up points right now.

Can see where the frustrations are as we've not played well. Moyes tactics, formation and team selections all seem quite negative.

His handling of Downes has been strange. Same with benrahma, never fully commiting to praising without adding a negative comment after. Again I read this morning he's talking about players learning English commenting on all his new signings for some reason again having a dig at benrahma for his English not being great. Absolutely no need.

Davy is a "foreigner" himself from north of t'border. How would people feel if we criticised Scots english, we would be called racist ;and escorted to the local nick to dance the Macarena with some PC cops!

Moyes has his favourites and he makes it known. They should all be treated the same as any good manager knows.

Oshee - incorrect imo, you would need equity of opportunity to achieve equality. You wouldn’t give a 2ft child the same stool to see over a fence as a 6ft child, clearly. As every good manager knows…

But also, favouritism is devisive. People in power should not practice any form of partiality.

Hi tinlegs we are all having our opinion but some people who go to games which I do think because you can't get to games fella you aren't entitled to your opinion well whenever I go to games a lot of my pals aren't happy with MOYES tactics and team selection and playing people out of position and trying to turn flair players into his robots and tinlegs you shouldn't have to explain why you can't get to matches as apart from health its very expensive and can mike please tell me what MOYES has achieved in his illustrious trophy filled CV as I'm struggling and his slagging players off in after match press conference isn't the right attitude and I can remember him saying DOWNES wasn't applying himself in training that should be kept private but they say the table never lies but we are only a couple of loses and teams below us win a few and we are back in it if that's cruise control then I wouldn't get in a car with mike.

Geeing up should be done privately in the manager's office IMHO. Even if it does appear to have worked somewhat. lol. Re young Downes, but of course could be a general remark re Moyes' Modus Operandus.
