Just read that Chelsea have told Sarri to go all out to sign Arnautovic in January, maybe that's why we've been linked with a few of their players, maybe they want some sort of deal involving these players, personally I would rather keep Arnie.

Agree Stevie try to keep our star man at all costs, be devastated like most of us if he went, would be a massive money spinner for him though and might be his last chance for a big payout and a real chance of winning trophies!

I love Arnies work rate but for me his poor goal return is one of the reasons we are where we are . If Chelsea want him in January I would let him go as long as a deal could be done with Loftus-Cheek, Moses and some money.

Not sure you are right on Arnie's return Dabber. Since moving to CF he has been rather prolific in Goals contributed (Goals + assists) per game. And a lot of that has been in a David Moyes team that was defensive and struggling and he had to do it ALL himself. don't look at the past years stats as he has been playing different positions then.
His is still our main man by a country mile (especially as Chica had Glange fever), unless MP has some masterstroke up his sleeve with the money then it's a MUST keep situation.
Doubt Arnie would go anywhere to sit on a bench, too big an ego, BUT at Chelsea there is a team that is challenging at the top and he would be ahead of Giroud, and probably Morata on form making him top dog. It may turn his head.

Nickinho, good post👍👍 let’s hope he’d prefer to be a big fish in a smaller less talented pool, than a smaller fish in a bigger talented pool but with lots more money floating around in it!

As always respect your posts Chelms and Nickinho but Arnie has missed some golden opportunities this season against Spurs, Brighton and particularly Arsenal where if he'd taken his chances we could have been 3:0 up at half time. He's a great talent but my point is that if Chelsea want him that badly cut us a realistic deal that includes RLC and I for one think the club should consider it .

Dabbed, I agree that Arnies missed quite a number of scoring opportunities, but do you think it could be that he feels the pressure to score most of the goals as there is a severe drought from other players, at least he’s creating the scoring situations! It must be quite a weight on your personality and game to think the whole of our stadium are almost dependent on you? Looking at the D Mail’s team for Leicester, it has included Antonio, bit surprised no Diangana to start? Will be happy with a draw today, Leicester are no mugs! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

Hi Chelms, I think we've played a lot better than our results and points suggest and are growing into a good unit. You’re right that Arnie is probably feeling the pressure of being the main man but that's what he’s paid to do. Its not all his fault though, Hernandez has been a massive disapointment, Perez shouldn’t hve been bought as Welbeck for me was the better option and was offered to us and sods law about Yarmalenko who was looking very good . For me we need a couple of goal scorers and I’d be looking at Loftus Cheek if a deal can be done (yes possibly with Arnie) and Callum Wilson.
