It's going to be a tough old season - can't see it improving much before Christmas.

Antonio has to be dropped, he's one dimensional, Yarmolenko has to be given a start, he offers so much more. Anderson looked a lot better today, he is clearly quality but needs to work a lot harder. The defence needs to be sorted or we are in big big trouble.

Some positives today, but yes defence needs help.

Amazing how we can watch the same game and have different views, I thought Antonio was brilliant in attack but the problem was we had another attacker trying to play left back and he was useless and directly responsible for their 2nd and 3rd goals, where is cresswell.

Snodgrass, Anderson, Diop etc all played pretty well, I was disappointed with Wiltshire, we lost but more positives than negatives given the first 2 games.

Yeah. I agree, all watching different games. Antonio just not enough quality. Snodgrass not fast or good enough. Sanchez was an improvement on Noble. Did look a lot weaker when Annie went off. Artur much better in defence today.

I thought the idea with Antonio and Snodgrass is they get back and support the two wide defenders more than Anderson did when he was on the left and what Yarmolenko does when he comes on. Before Antonio got injured Arsenal weren’t able to come down our left as easily as Liverpool and Bournemouth did and when they did they often got caught out and it setup a counter. Need to consider what people are doing tracking back and what they do off the ball when looking at their performance, we need that balance.

Hi chaps I'm still on hols in Turkey, wifi not brilliant, I know we lost but can someone tell me if we looked better, and how many times do we lose after being in front, it's very frustrating.

We looked better definately. Arsenal looked poor though especially in the first half where their midfield and defence were completely disjointed. We should have gone in leading, Snodgrass, Arnie and Antonio not taking really good chances. The second half Arsenal improved and we didn’t look as dangerous especially after Arnie went off injured but at then end could gave snatched a draw when Anderson, who did a lot better in the free role behind the striker, flashed one across goal but no one moved to poke it in. Would have been 2-2 but Arsenal went up the other end and scored. Diop played but made a few mistakes that lead to two goals really (needs game time), Wilshire was slow again and let people go which lead to the first goal, but Arnie always looked dangerous, Anderson had his best game, the fullbacks looked a lot better. Small steps, nothing to get excited about, but better.
