Well that's sneaky from the board, just had my letter about renewing my season ticket, which it says is on price freeze for two seasons. if I pay £580 before the 27th of this month, wow thanks for giving a lot of time to think about it and get the funds together anyway, u would at least think they would wait until the seasons end but know, seems like a con from the top to take my money now before a massive chance of championship football, although I could be wrong as this was my first year as a season ticket holder and I suppose this could be the the norm, can anyone enlighten me a bit? It looks like I won't be getting one though as money is tight, even though it is still quite cheap but real life things need paying first lol.

Whitby, you have a choice don’t you! They are businessmen, they are in it to make money, it’s no secret, nobody runs a business to lose money! They have skins as thick as Rhinos, they don’t give a f—- about fans no matter what promises they make, they are salesman. I am possibly one of the most cynical people around, I believe nobody if I am at the end of a sales pitch, nobody can sell to me, I have a mind of my own! I have never had a season ticket but have been W. H. through and through since 1959 when I first started work and could pay to watch us, away to matches as well at times! We have always been hot and cold forever, but that's how it works. It doesn’t stop at season tickets, it’s fares, time, taking your children if you have any, what fans pay is a bloody disgrace, vote with your feet if you feel your being had over, which you are, simple 😠 Apologies if that sounds like a know all, money has ruined the game forever.

Chelmsford! I totally agree with you. I've supported Hammers since 1961 and this lot are out for one thing and one thing only. After what's happened that last few seasons and the way we fans have been treated by them I intend to vote with mine and my son's feet and won't be going next year. Don't get me wrong, love the IRONS and we need to get behind them and I agree with all that, BUT, I refuse to line the pockets of our owners anymore when all they do is repay us with lies, false promises and false hope.

We've heard it all time and time again about how they promised us big things when we moved into this stadium and its all been a sham and a con and they know EXACTLY what they are doing.

WELL, SO DO I and I can do a lot more with my hard earned money than contribute to the champagne at the board meeting!

That’s it Phil, we should be on our soapboxes as the old codgers 😄😄⚒⚒ I can honestly remember being on the District Line after the game when being taken over to W. H. as a kid by an Uncle and older cousin and John Bond the right full back in those days was going home by District Line with his kit bag and W. H. shirt sticking out of the zip, but I was to star struck to say anything to him being a kid!

Thanks Chelmsford and Phil for the wise words, u guys sound like I’ve seen it all, I’ve supported them all my life and been to as many games as I could when I could afford when we were at the Boleyn, it’s difficult when you live on the Yorkshire coast but I was over the moon when I got my season ticket and I’m 36, I was like a kid in a seeetshop. Don’t get me wrong I love going down now even tho it isn’t the same in the new stadium, I just love our club, always have and will, but even I feel let down so it’s hard to understand what u guys feel. My heart says keep the ticket going but my head says don’t line the two ronnies pockets. They really should pay attention to this site or someone should make it known to them because a lot of sense is spoke in here by people who love their club. And to me personally they need to put up or shut up, or better for most of the fans, leave. Anyway thanks for the advice guys and sorry for the rant.
COME ON YOU IRONS and London stadium I will see you Sunday. 👍🏻.

Whitby. I'm from Middlesbrough and now live in Nottingham and travel most weekends (if the wife don't wanna go shopping) pmsl. Years ago I used to travel all over the country to watch my beloved hammers many many years ago. That's when we had an academy to be proud of and we played football with flair and passion. Managers such as Ron Greenwood, John Lyall. Who can remember watching "Pop Robson" and "Clyde Best" and of course Bobby, Martin and Geoff! Names to conjur memories when we were a team to fear and when we had a ground NOBODY wanted to visit and we could play some seriously good football! We may not have been the biggest, or the richest but by god could we play football that was entertaining

What do we have these days? Poor Squad run by a poor manager brought in by a poor board with no direction or ambition (oh yeah, they can talk the talk but that's all it is, TALK) and now trying to hard sell season tickets to very unhappy disillusioned fans. I'll renew mine and my son's season ticket when they leave and not before.

Phew, Phil and Whitby, you are true Hammers supporters travelling from where you live, as said before I’ve supported from the late ‘50’s and remember and seen all the names play you mentioned many times. I come from Dagenham originally, so W. H. was the local professsional team in those days, so your dedication is to be admired! I played football against Martin Peters as a schoolboy, who was a bit of a hero locally, that was the nearest I ever got to playing for West Ham😄 Going back even earlier than you mentioned we had some decent players, Malcolm Allison, John Bond, Noel Cantwell, Frank O’farrel, Big Ernie Gregory in goal, many more I can think of that were all heroes to me! Hardly go now but have been to the London Stadium to watch us, but went to one evening game, never again, nightmare journey home to Chelmsford for an “old boy 😄” wouldn’t go now even with a free ticket! My dedication is restricted to watching us on TV or live commentary on the radio, so now dedicated armchair fan with no frustrations travelling home especially when we’ve been rubbish, long journey home to Whitby or Nottingham when we’ve lost!

NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is going to change with our CURRENT OWNERS (Albert trip smith apart) and the future if you ask me is majority struggles to avoid relegation from premiership and broken promises (I get in football we shouldn't take owners 100%trueful) as they in my opinion are long winded control freaks who try and outdo and undermine people well in football that doesn't wash and they already have learnt you can't tell lies rgearing SPORING LISBON because you'll be found out and SULLIVAN doesn't care who he drags under the bus with him at all costs and I feel a bit sorry for GOLD as he is clearly SULLYS puppet and BRADY I've no time for her one bit with her pathetic statements but things I hope things improve but I ain't holding my breath unfortunately. COYI.

I tell u what I do agree with, I do feel sorry for gold, I know nothing about either of them other that brummy fans hate them, but Sullivan just looks like a horrible man, so smug and ignorant, he looks like he doesn’t give a rubbish which is just wrong in so many levels, for me it is him and his daft grandson or nephew or whatever he is who are pissing me off, some of the stuff that kid puts in social networks about our club at the wrong times just annoys me to death. I’m still torn as to what to do because they keep saying their is a 20k plus waiting list for season tickets and the thought of losing my foot in the door living so far away is a worry. Unless that’s bollocks aswell.
