Regarding any buys we might make this window, it seems to me that Sullivan identifies players he is keen on, then waits till the last moment to see if the price goes down if no one else is interested.

For goodness sake let’s get the Rice Saga done one way or another! Either set out the deal we want from Arsenal, if it’s not acceptable then Rice should either go elsewhere if others are interested or make him stay for another season!
We then know what money the club have or won’t have for the transfer window, if Rice loves our club as much as he said he does, should he need not consider that as much for the adoration he has had from the paying fans if nothing else?
