Have we just signed Eduardo Macia, as director of football?

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what the status of him actually signing a contract is but he is seen as an option.}

Somebody already updated Wikipedia less than an hour ago looks like he has a decent history.

I've now read that Mario Husillos is the director of football, can anyone clear this up, Mike, need your help on this one mate.

{Ed002's Note - That would be an "oh, dear me" if he has been appointed.}

Ed, but isn't that who Pellegrini wants?

{Ed002's Note - Why would a coach decide on who he wants as a Director of Football. That is not how it works.}

Ed, I think you’ll find that’s how it is at West Ham, this is Pellegrinis decision?

{Ed002's Note - So they have handed over the club to a manager who likely won't be there very long?}

Ed, I’m only saying what I’ve seen on other sites and what Ironmike has said that Husillos is who Pellegrini wants.

{Ed002's Note - Ok, then the club will have handed over the keys to a 65 year old journeyman coach. Interesting change of direction to have the coach appointing the board.}

Hahaha he might get to say who he would like but at the end of the day DGS will be the ones making the decision.

Ed can you explain how Pellegrini is a journeyman and why he won't be here very long? Fyi he's managed the same number of clubs as Jose since 2004.

{Ed002's Note - What does it have to do with JM?}

Because calling JM a journeyman would be ridiculous.

{Ed002's Note - So you want to compare two parts of unrelated careers when MP started his only long-term job. It really is pointless my explaining things to you.}
