Hi fellas, well it seems that no agreements could be found with Moyes although I'm told it's not done as yet BUT Moyes just won't agree with certain things that's it I hope this doesn't get messy Big names don't always make a guarantee of success, IRONMIKE

Could we not look at the assistant at Liverpool and assistant at Man Utd who have both left their posts, or would it be too much of a gamble, just thought I’d put it out there.

I don’t think it matters stevie, if the board won’t give the manager full control then it’s a difficult job to sell to anyone, I’m worried that all the negativity the last Couple of years has Made the WHU job a poisoned chalice .

Don't worry about that Mike. Big names won't come to us.

Second rate names is what you need to be worried about!

As for assistants, the list of assistants that successfully step are are few and far between but the failures are endless:

Carlos Queiroz, Steve McClaren, Sammy Lee, Paul Clement to name just a few.

Lets face it, its all about control. The board will not let the Manager manage. They still want a yes man who when things go wrong they cane blame them instead of holding their hands up . Everyone knows Moyes did what was asked of him but now its down to transfers, who to come in and who to let go. The board will never agree that its the Managers job to decide Its as simple as that. The first thing the next Manager will ask what is our transfer budget. Its NOT what the board want to here They want to hear what players can u get on loan.

Utterly disagree.

The manager's job is to manage the resources allocated to him. If the manager wishes to complain, he should do so in private. That isn't being a "yes man" ; it's being professional.

Of course the Board will let the "manager manage" but the manager has to operate within certain constraints and that includes budgets.

Too many managers whine about money - and they know fans will always sympathise because fans like transfers - but clubs have to maintain a sustainable budget that protects the club's future.

Unless you want WHUFC to end up like Sunderland.
