You cannot afford to carry players in European games why didn't DM rest players against arsenal frankfurt ested basically their whole team against LEVERKUSEN on monday night and DM hasn't got a plan B or C I know it's easy to point fingers after the event but Cresswell should never be left one on one in a foot chase

Are your centre backs not meant to be the last defender, Dawson again for the goal as he was in no man’s land marking the grass!

Why did we take off lanzini when we were still chasing a goal, go 3 at back and carry on, very negative from moyes and got punished, let’s bring on a young striker for experience

Really gutted as I thought we would turn this around and we started well enough, then simple long ball and Cresswell misses it then panics. Then their goal the player just stops at the penalty spot and Dawson running with him keeps running. Simple mistakes throw away a whole season.

Cresswell committed the same foul against Lyon, you just can’t grab someone as they will go down, just see if the keeper would’ve saved it and if not then we go a goal down but still have 11 players, could’ve quit easily come back with 11 players!

Cresswell was sold down the river by his CB’s, they were by half way line which is ridiculous, we know cresswell is to old but he’s not to blame.

Moyes needed to be more positive and left lanzini on, we were chasing a goal and needed a back 3 to give us something going forward.

Still a great season for us and a big rebuild needed for start of next season, let’s see new investment in to the team and push on

How was Cresswell not to blame? He made the same mistake against Lyon …. Up until that point we were in control of the game and they looked nervous. I know football is all about “Band of Brothers” mentality but that decision may well cost us more than just a final and potential place in the Champions League it could mean players like Rice and Bowen move on. But Cresswell will remain blameless and still remain at left back next season whilst We all wonder what if

Cresswell clearly got it wrong. He tried to kick the ball and missed it then he panicked and grabbed out at the player. Cresswell has been a great player for us so don't want to really rip into him because of a mistake but it did make it near impossible to come back then. We really shouldn't have lost at home and been chasing the game though. But lot's to learn, they played the two legs tactically far better than us, I just hope Rangers stuff them though.

Hiya bobbywhufc you are spot on about DM he should have gone 3 at the back and played 2 up front ANTONIO was chasing fresh air for most of the game but its the same old tactics launch the ball for ANTONIO to chase with no plan b or c he just isn't tactically astute to change formation's and style of play he was the same at EVERTON just a steady old club but you have to know more than that this all comes down to the squad not being strong enough depth wise our bench isn't good enough its BENRAHMA coming on in the 70th minute every game same old same old I know I will get slaughtered about this post as he's taken us to the semis of a European cup but Frankfurt ain't that special they have 3 or 4 top draw players where we don't have that strength and I have to say it to not replace HALLER who I knew was a good player was unprofessional and I can't wait to see who we buy and release in the summer as we've got a lot of dead wood and need not just a strong starting 11 but a strong bench and DM has to involve the youngsters more IMO as we have some very good players in the u23s.

I know people often talk about transfer windows and how important they are. I don't often buy into that, but this one, I really do believe will decide where we as a club over the next few years. They need to get it right.

DM has taken this squad as far as it can go, we are now boring due to lack of investment, run chase, work hard, bloody hell that might work against lesser teams, but not in Euro football! To many have lost their spark due to playing to many games, why not freshen it up with some youngsters at least give them a chance?
Where was the defence when Cresswell was stranded, I know we were chasing the game from the KO, we can all name names but that was a stupid, stupid foul and certain red for Cresswell, I get sick and tired of shirt pulling, arms all over opposing players, bad enough in opponents half or midfield, but at last man standing and away from home in a game that meant so much, words fail me!
Then we have the super subs come on, that may save the game for us, my god what a shambles even if we still had 11 players on and chasing the game, so bloody predictable!
The poor travelling hard core supporters should all be refunded by WH, just hope there was no serious problems after the game?
After such a successful season I feel I shouldn’t be moaning after fighting relegation for the last 3 seasons or whatever, but a serious overhaul is needed in the summer to incentivise our main players to stay if possible? ⚒⚒⚒

Re transfer windows - here's an angle; how come there is always money on the table if we have a Big Boss like Bilic or Pellegrini? Moyes' image of Mr Scrooge is being manipulated by the naord, tey can say "wee Davy never asked for any players anyway, he prefers to run the existing ones into the ground".
