For the league cup I think we need to rest players and use the squad. Fornals and Soucek at a minimum looked spent in the Man United game and Rice really suffered after the long run he did.

SDL apart from Benny this is the reserves and I don't disagree with you. The real question is do we go for 4 competitions or forget the League Cup and let the Mancs get tired out come February. Personally I'd be happy to forget the League Cup this season.

Well he went with Johnson and Bowen rather than Vlasic and Benrahma, and doing well considering the quality United can call on as a second eleven. Shame for Fredericks he had started so well again.
