I really don't get how VAR couldn't intervene when soucek was wiped out by bissaka in the box. Also just before the corner that lead to there first goal I'm certain Ronaldo was offside. VAR would be good if it was used correctly.

Thought Ronaldo was offside on first view, but on replay he clearly wasn't, he timed stepping back on perfectly. Also VAR did look at Soucek one.

I'm talking before that he had a chance i thought was offside that lead to a corner which lead to his goal.

I seen something about souceks saying because the ref had made the decision that it was foul by soucek they couldn't intervene.

I see, didn't look back to see if he was offside before that - will check it out. But yes they don't use VAR when it isn't for the lead up play to a goal. Annoying as I have seen also goals scored from corners that weren't corners and free kicks outside the box that should have been looked at.

Don't think you'll find a good clip of it certainly not at an angle to prove on or off as they half heartedly looked on a replay.

Seen a lot of that to a lot of decisions could have been checked in 5 seconds when they are so obvious.
