Should Rice still hand Noble the Captain's armband to him when he comes on as a sub, it is a very respectful gesture on Rice's part, but not so good imo for Noble to accept it? He may be the club Captain, for whatever that means when you're not on the pitch, so I cannot understand why Rice is not the Captain, full stop!
I personally think it would be a nice gesture for Noble to refuse it? We all know Noble will not play another full game, time to step back from the status of Captaincy on the pitch imo? âš’âš’âš’.

Absolutely Rice should hand over the armband. This is not even a debate. Noble is club captain. Noble will run that dressing room. Being a captain is more than playing your part on the pitch.

I think it’s between the two of them and I think it’s a very respectful gesture that doesn’t affect what happens on the pitch, so it’s ok with me.
