First time poster, long time reader.
I think the midfield issue is more about the wings. Arnautovic we all knew was going to be in and out of games, even at stoke if the team were losing he'd go missing and sulk rather than make an impact. I personally don't really understand what ayew offers us out wide, from watching the city game and United game he seems all running and no end product. If we get Obiang, Kouyate and Fernandes in the centre or even Carvalho if all the hype is true then the centre is very strong, we just have to move away from Bilic and Noble becoming the new Allardyce and Nolan. Lanzini and Antonio will obviously make a huge impact on the supply to Chicarito, and hopefully we're not all so downbeat by the time Huddersfield come to the OS. COYI!

At last Westhamwils has hit the nail on the head exactly what I've been saying about Nolan and billic I'm with you mate 1 million percent I keep getting slagged off for picking on noble he ain't good enough he spent the whole game on the floor because he ain't got the strength to knock players off the ball but slaven will continue to play him we will be a better team without him get rid now don't care he's claret and blue running through his veins, let's have 11 players that are West Ham mad but are no good yeah right bye noble.

Noble is definitely past it now just hopefully billic sees sense. Once our squad os fully fit hopefully he will be eased out of the first 11. But in all honesty can see bilic sticking with obiang and noble in cm even if we get Carvalho.

I can't get my head round the Bilic tactics
We are playing away against the prem favorites
So our plan is?

Maybe he'd already written that one off be for the kick off
Also we all knew lukaku would score

Hammerdave. When carvalho joins us DM players will be Kouyate, obiang and carvalho. As much as I have time for Noble and think the club should retain his services for the loyalty he has shown, these services should be restricted to a potential youth team coaching role. He just won't get game time with Obiang, Kouyate and Carvalho in team. My two choices if restricted to DMs per game would be Kouyate and Carvalho.

I would NoT stick with noble. BUT bilic probably will as he likes him. Wouldn't be surprised.

Five people disagreed with my views on NOBLE being not nearly good enough are obviously wearing claret and blue tinted spectacles come on if you think he's good enough you have zero knowledge of football he's been getting away with bad performances for two seasons now watch the Utd game and watch him closely the game was too quick and he was like bambi on ice he hasn't got any pace whatsoever and if you play in his position you've got to have an engine to go 90 minutes and if you think he has your lying to yourselves his passing which three years ago wasn't bad is gone gives the ball away in our half too many times and if CARVALHO signs he shouldn't be starting but billic will find a spot for him might play him in goal he'd do a better job than mr head and shoulders. COYI.
