Ed have you any new updates you can let us in on mate, that could have legs? Lot a chat about king, I'm not too sure myself if he's worth 15m @ 29 and not really set the world alight, is he prone to an injury or two? I don't really know much about him. On a side note, has anyone ever heard out from iron Mike? I know he's not been on for ages but didn't know if any of you were I. Touch over other sites 🤷‍♂️.

{Ed002's Note - West Ham have been flip-flopping between striker targets and Josh King would give them a certain amount of predictable stability, but it would only be a short-term solution. There does seem to be a lack of focus on targets - not for the first time. We have not heard anything from Mike but he remains welcome here.}

Cheers Ed, I’m not to sure on a king deal, especially as you say short term, I hope they go for someone for long term.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know why more effort has not been in to what was the preferred option of Moussa Marega who can sign a pre-contract now. With Milik moving to Marseille the pick of the players they have been looking at is Boulaye Dia - but there is a great deal of interest in him. He could certainly add something to West Ham's attack.}

ed is there any team worse than west ham whem it comes to transfer dealings?

so many teams seem to indentify a target then sign them but west ham are always linked with a number of players and the then end up with a loan or a cheap option or nobody.

{Ed002's Note - The problem still seems to be that there is no other football person in the hierarchy who can, with the coach and the scouts, decide on a short list of targets that the club can stick to. Whilst the Dildo Brothers should quite rightly be identifying the finances available, there should be a Director of Football or similar working with Moyes and the scouts to say, for example, we will let Haller go and we will spend the money on Boulaye Dia as first choice else Josh King or look Moussa Marega on a pre-contract and shore up the defence with James Tarkowski. It seems to be a far more random approach flip-flopping between targets. On the plus side Jack Sullivan was not appointed Director of Football.}
