Hi Eds.

Sky sports reported last night that David Moyes has stated he will possibly be signing two new players within the next week.
Would you care to speculate who that may be? You seem a lot closer to the truth than some of the drivel I’ve been reading. I’m not going to hold you to it.
😂😂😂😂.

{Ed002's Note - James Tarkowski remains the number one choice for David Moyes but there is a financial issue that might be difficult to resolve. Omar Colley may provide an option. JOsh Maja remains of interest - and something could be doe with Moussa Marega. Again much will depend on outgoings - and there are wildcard options like Benrahma, Sanson and even Mario Goetze if space can be found.}

So I need to give up on Matviyenko and Takehiro.

Ah, well.

{Ed002's Note - Mykola Matviyenko (CB) West Ham, Leeds, Wolves and Fenerbahce have shown an interest. Arsenal looked at him in January but stepped back as it seemed a Work Permit would need to be applied for under the exemption scheme.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (RB) Roma and Newcastle have had enquiries turned away. So I would suggest scratch him as it is not going to happen.}

Thanks Ed. Appreciate your efforts in responding. Strange about Marega. Thought that horse had bolted last season.

{Ed002's Note - There are a whole bunch of other options as well. But sales and space in the squad are the issues.}

COYI64, he must be quite sure or he is leaving himself open to criticism, or he might regret saying “promise less, deliver more”, can’t see him leaving himself open to that though but we’ll see?
See Diangana scored today, I wonder if that’s a case of “giving someone a chance”? ⚒⚒⚒.

Chelmsford. Yes it wasn’t just a goal by Diangana. It was a premier league quality goal. Bilic is no mug and used to play him in the team when he managed West Ham albeit sparingly.

The fact that he played him regularly in championship and is now willing to offer £18m for him as a premiership player would suggest to me he feels he’s now more than good enough to compete in premier league. You may or may not remember my posts in the past supporting DGS and saying they had clubs best interests at heart and I STILL believe this.

But letting Diangana go was a massive mistake and if they ever bring in Said Benrahma I’ll be mightily hacked off with them. Diangana is as good as Benrahma and younger: also Diangana was a local lad who wanted to play for us.
Watch this space though.

I think DGS will soon be on my sh*t list!
Either they are stupid or they are asset stripping before a potential buyer takes over the club.

I still think letting Diangana go was a necessary evil and at times tough decisions need to be made that won’t please everyone. I am not saying Diangana is a bad player only we need players in other positions and he is the only one we got an offer on.
