HI fellas, ALL roads seem to lead to Raul Jiminez, he said a while back that he didn't want to play for WH, BUT BILIC is a BIG admirer of this player, he's quality, he has his pal, chicharito coming, and I could be entirely wrong of course, BUT without Carroll we haven't got a good header of the ball up front other than Antonio, it's going to take, a BIG bid to get him, but as it now looks as if Keita has decided not to come I would not be surprised to hear about this shortly, This is only MY OWN, feeling, BUT, I kniw how highly

Surely you could just get chris wood who has a bit of a head on him for less than half the price and probly wages? Maybe mandzukic etc.

Noel7, wood is not on the same page as Jimenez we are talking completely different levels in my opinion wood is a good championship player as is snodgrass which I said when we signed him and I got slaughtered by people saying he's a good set piece and crosser of the ball look where we are with him a championship player in my opinion that's what this game is about opinions and wood is a poor Andy carol.

Either one will do they are both quality footballers and that along with badou n'diaye and jota this would be stuff of dreams and I'm waiting for someone to wake me up.

I get where your comin from butni wouldn't spend the kind of money they will be askin for on jiminez. I don't rate the guy to be fair but each to there own. Andy carroll is continuously injured anyway. Would rather slimani or d. rolan as a back up and they prob would still be cheaper I recon.

The last week or two have been a huge improvement in the clubs transfer dealings. Signing Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez is superb business.

I'll be honest I think we have sufficient cover at full back now, but if we play with three centre halfs I think we still need another central defender. I think Chris Smalling would be a great signing.

I'd also like to see us sign another midfielder, perhaps someone that can play across the whole of midfield. Losing Feghouli and Snodgrass. and only signing Arnautovic as a potential winger I think leaves us a little short. Abdou N'Diaye would be a decent signing but I'd like to see us enquire about Rafinha from Barcelona. a loan with option to buy would be superb business. Jack Wilshere on a cheap deal would also be a good signing.

If we sign another forward, is it likely to be a loan with an option to buy or an outright purchase? How much of a transfer budget do we still have?

A forward on loan with option to buy I'd go for Michy Batshuayi, but if we have enough to buy another forward, the money being mentioned about Raul Jimenez I'd rather spend on Benteke.
