Hi Mike

Did you know that the clowns that run our club have signed 32 strikers and how many of those have been a success I ask? Does anyone know the answer cause I can't think of any? . AC is always injured, Sakho is taking the micheal, Valencia is crap and I honestly can't think of a striker that's been a real success.

Demba Ba was a good striker but yes you are right mostly our striker signings have been an absolute disaster, never really had a 20 goal a season striker since Dean Ashton.

Interesting that we have such a poor record when it comes to strikers. I genuinely wonder why?

That striker post. Those 32 players have scored a total of something like 211 goals between them over 7 years. Kane, Lukaku and Conte have 244 in three. I'd hate to think what the cost per goals ratio is once transfer/ loan fees and wages are taken in to account. Just goes to show, spending big occasionally looks like it works out a lot cheaper than spending cheaply frequently.

{Ed039's Note - Conte?)
