HI fellas, we'll the tables could be turning, IF wh have first the money, and second the courage to go with it, man United have contacted wh, to say broadly their offer of 12m is getting close, to their expectation level for hernandez, they have now told the player of the offer, and we shall see no counter bid from spurs has yet happened whilst we are on the subject of bids, although it was put forward, NO increased bid for moussa sow has arrived as yet from Sunderland, so at this time wh are the top bidders. Again we shall wait and see, talking oif Sunderland, leroy fer although chased by wh and psv, looks likely to sign for the black cats As you are aware there have been talks about austin, wh do think his valuation is too high, the player wants to come, but wh want too squeeze the price a bit. They don't think that qpr, want to play austin for long in the championship, and are working on that weakness, Newcastle are watching events closely, but have not increased their bid, this is realy west hams call now, they can sort this IF THEY WANT TO ,,,,,,?? NO point discussing loan strikers, or d'ambrosio, who's talks are today, Valencia better news than we thought, which is good, my info on hallilovic was correct ( well it was yesterday) song still status quo. There seems to be another switch, three or four other targets appearing including Geoffrey donsah, German Denis prefers to stay in Italy, back later IRONMIKE

Positive signs, thanks Mike.
I'd be happy if we got:
Halilović, Song, D'Ambrosio, Hernandez and Sow or Austin (and another reserve 'keeper);
And got rid of:
Nolan, Jarvis, O'Brien, Carroll and perhaps, sorry(!), Mark Noble.
On another contentious note, Maiga actually played pretty well against Astra last week - his touches were good, he held the ball up well and was full of energy and enthusiasm. He's the only one of the potentially outgoing crowd that has actually done something positive in pre-season. Anybody agree?

Hi Mike, at last some encouraging signs, as I have said many times before Austin should be number 1 target (in my opinion), everyone knows that Hernandez is a decent player but you have to ask why he could not get into the Man U first team when he had little or no competition, however he would definitely give us a different option up front.
To be honest if we could land those two, plus Halilovic and decent cover for right back I would be happy to call it a day for this window. I can't see us being in Europe for much longer so with any lick the pressure will be off a bit by the end of the week.
Cant wait for Sunday.
