I like Carrick but don’t see any evidence of why he would be a good manager. The fact he has played for us I don’t think has much relevance. I would love to see Bilic succeed but can not see it apart from his first season with us he has done nothing. I know you are not suggesting these names Mac but I think it’s a case of here we go again. We need someone who probably hardly any of us know but footballing experts do know. Who had heard of Keith Andrew’s before he replaced Frank at Brentford everyone was tipping them for the drop but he has done a really decent job because that is how the Brentford machine works and we don’t have that.
