This is a first, I think we all agreed that last nights performance was a vast Improvement on the dross we've had to put up with.

For the first hour I thought we controlled the game, Scarles was a class act, with Paqueta on the left and then Summerville and AWB on the right we were comfortable.

Then of course we had the injuries and dread we had to bring on Coufal who isn't up to the job anymore and as long as he plays we will struggle. Not sure I heard SOUCEKs name more than twice the entire match. Kudus started being careless, alavarez lost possession continually and the rest is history. Our CB's are slow and in the long term I'd replace them but as we've all pointed out, priority this window has to be forward/s. Yes we have desperate need all.over the park but we need a goal scoring forward even if it takes our entire January budget. Jonathon David and Elye Wahi both have loads of pace and with Summerville and Bowen either side we have a very dangerous front 3, but will the board buy a class act or the bargain basement offer instead eg another Danny Ings

Potters will have to raise money by sales. It’ll be interesting who goes. I wonder if he’ll sell someone like Emerson, with the emergence of Scarles. He could receive reasonable money for him.
