The reason we haven't got a designated penalty taker is because we don't have a settled starting 11, the only two players guaranteed to start are Rice and Fabianski and Rice has already missed one at Forest, we should all have an idea on who will be starting against Bournemouth but we don't, I don't know if Moyes has taken us as far as he can, he's scared of going forward and always defending, never going to win playing like that.

Agreed Stevie. For us to get better there has to be some consistency. OK, we get injuries, sometimes a lot more than other clubs, but we have to have a settled starting 11. Fornals clearly showed the other night that Benrahma (who Moyes clearly dislikes) that he should be on the bench behind Benny. Johnson was poor but got better as the game wore on and is much better than coufal. Downes is better than Soucek. These players have to be dropped and if necessary sold in January to get upgrades in those positions. We have been crying out for good fullbacks for years and MOYES has neglected those positions and every season we get found out. There is no supply from our full backs and yet, look round the league at other clubs who have hard working full backs who can attack aswell as defend and create genuine supply for the forwards. Ours can't. We have Emerson who attacks but he can't defend at the minute. Unfortunately things will never change under MOYES and he is going nowhere, and now that Villa sacked Gerard we can forget Pochettino. If Moyes was to leave I would still like UNAI EMRY but would he leave Villareal for us? I doubt it

Benrahma most creative outside of top 6 and he's played almost half the amount of minutes as the other players he's compared to. No surprise we are struggling for goals when our most creative player is on the bench,Moyes treatment of him has been really poor, understand he can give the ball away cheaply sometimes but he's trying to make stuff happen and it's not like he's messing around with it in dangerous areas.

Need him Paqueta and Bowen all feeding Scamacca at the same time we will score plenty.

Agreed on Downes he's a much better footballer than Soucek the amount of times our play breaks down when soucek gets the ball is getting painful to watch now.

Soucek is being held onto in the starting eleven due to the fact he used to score goals (not the primary role of a defensive MF); this is an example of Moyes being too loyal at times, he does not react to changing sircumstances - life itself is in a constant state of flux - come on Davy you were a draughtsman; so got O Grades, use your noddle a bit more!

Re Forest - as with anything else in life; the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Suspect Xmas season not as important as usual due to World Cup predomination this winter in the Northern Hemisphere (and beyond). So arguably they have till May ultimately to at least avoid relegation. I wish them well as long as we don't go down in their place. Which thankfully seems unlikely at this juncture.
