Yeh, I intensely dislike our players being called for selection to play International football, no matter who they are selected for! Dean Ashton had to retire in 2009 after a career ending training tackle of all things by Shaun Wright-Phillips, it happened in 2006, he had a great future in front of him and apparently caused him mental problems trying to cope with it at age 26,did that tackle have to happen? Lanzini, will he ever be the same? The bodies must get overworked playing, Internationals, Premier league, Euro games, especially if involved from an early age, Michael Owen another early retiree, fantastic in he’s career, was that through being overplayed?
