What ifs and scenarios!, once again as fans we really are going through another season of turmoil, relegation battle, and just a basic disgruntlement of here we go again. will it ever change?

To give credit the board have backed the Manager as we all wanted but the question is what research did they actually do on MP other than he won the league with Man C?

His tactics were ridiculous against Liverpool and the displays since dreadful. So he may have only 3 games to save his job? Everton away, Chelsea Man U at home, no mean feat even if we were playing well.

On that bases if he only has the 3 games to save his job I think he will go? . what than? I have not got a clue who would come in, we would need somebody who can make a direct impact for the Brighton away match, or at least show improvement

I honestly don't think this is going to work for MP at all, and although its only 3 games I would rather have someone in ASAP, even if we managed something from the 3 games in IMO it does not mean it will suddenly turn around, it all looks wishie washy and Shearer summed it up on match of the day. Pathetic!

Do we go back to Moyes who may accelerate the change quicker having been here last year or someone completely new. Big Scam? . its a shame as it was all good intentions of moving forward as a club but now it looks like we have taken 2 steps back unless MP can pull a rabbit.
from his hat

I also have worries concerning the new signings if a new manager comes in, we could have £30m plus, worth of talent not even getting involved and we can't recoup till Jan.

Im sorry if this is down right negative but I can't see where were going over than trying to put out the fire AGAIN,

Ur not negative Warrington, just honest, we are all gutted and down, but I think all have been sucked in by MP’ premier league win, from board to fans, me included I guess. But let’s face it he had a very good squad at city. For me, I would love to get Rafa, he’s honest and seems to be gent and as loyal as they come, getting treated like a baked bean by Ashley, the toon fans love him, but don’t think he will leave, he would have to be pushed in my opinion. As regards of our signings, surely they can only get better u see MP or someone else, so again do me Rafa all the way but that’s my opinion I’m sure others disagree. Just hope we sort our rubbish out.
COYI.

West Ham will need MP to resign. Simple as that. Don't think we'll get anything out of the next 4 games, that'll be 8 games 0 points. Reckon he may fall on his sword them. I'd get Big Sam until end of year.

Mark you mean Big Scam>. He would probably turn us down out of spite, go straight to the media, earn a few quid and say the board begged him to return. I don't know what's bigger. his head or Ego? . But if its Big Scam or Championship I suppose Big Scam wins hands down. but knowing what MP is on and the serious of the situation no doubt would ask for £5m plus to keep us up. in reality (like getting a taxi when you bee on a alldayer) . money well spent?

Warrington I love your posts mate as they’re always written with reasoned arguments. I don’t think you’re being negative. I was chuffed when we got MP as I thought he could elevate us to the next level however on reflection the only evidence he could this was based on winning the the title with MC and his expoits in Spain. He is clearly somebody who knows how to manage players of a higher calibre but can’t tactically manage those who have slightly less quality. In hindsight, which is a wonderful thing, we should have looked at a manager that gets average players playing and achieving above their capability, Sean Dyche, Eddie Howe immediately spring to mind but would they come? The glaringly obvious choice is Claudio Ranieri. The first thing anybody needs to do is sort out the attitude. Players walking aimlessly with no desire as pointed out on MOTD like Arnie, Cresswell given 6 yds by Traore who ended up 6 in front of him, Hernandez sulking because he can’t score. I agree there are some like Snodgrass who are’nt good enough at this level but personally I’d prefer to see an average player try hard than a so called Worldy not give a s**t. On top of that MP wants to play flair and attacking football but his forward line aren’t firing. We should have been 4 up at half time against Arsenal and Bournmouth and at least 2 against Wolves then its a totally different story. We’re chasing games which leaves us vunerable at the back. For me if one of Arnie, Hernandez, Antonio, Perez, Snodgrass, Yarmalenko or even Andersen got their heads out of their backsides and put away the multitude of opportunities given we would not be in the position we are now .
