Ed, got any insight into potential transfers?
Is it likely we will sign the stuttgard cb and wahi amd kudos?

Rumours around doku too? Seems too good to be true?

Also, are we interested in any lbs at all?

{Ed002's Note - Konstantinos Mavropanos (CB) Eintracht Frankfurt will make an offer to Stuttgart. Options include a return to London with West Ham - and apparently that would suit the player - and the price will be suitable.

Elye Wahl (LW/RW/S) Young Montpellier forward who is having a very good season but is perhaps not ready to step up to the Premier League, but there has been interest from the Championship and particularly QPR. Wolves, Crystal Palace and Everton have sent scouts to watch him at the behest of Mendes who is hawking him around and I suspect CP may make an offer although they have less need now. Eintracht Frankfurt see him as a potential replacement for Randal Kolo Muani. Suggested Chelsea could sign him and ship him off the Strasbourg which makes some sense, but remains unconfirmed and the player does not want to end up in Alsace. The lady from Marseille has told Chelsea stay well clear of him and Chelsea may heed those words. West Ham offer another option and perhaps should heed her words as well. Union Berlin may follow up with another offer after one was rejected. A potential Openda replacement for RBL. Atletico have declared an interest. Wildcard may be Arsenal but it is hard to see where he will get game time. Moved to Lens.

Mohammed Kudus (AM) Everton were told by Ajax that he was not for sale last summer but interest may remain although the club have no chance of signing him. Ajax still don't particularly want to sell and would no doubt look for well over the odds if any offers were made. Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund have a declared interest although I suspect Manchester United will concentrate on another player now. Eric ten Hag knows the player but he would be an eventual Bruno Fernandes replacement if the club were to look at him. Barcelona interest has likely gone. Seen as an option to Tielemans by Arsenal and I expect Arsenal to prioritise Kudus which may suit the player. Down the list of Mason Mount replacements for Chelsea - they have preferred options but are struggling to agree a replacement - but I suspect their focus remains elsewhere on another target or two first. A player watched by Brighton, Liverpool and Borussia Moenchengladbach with Brighton looking to him as a Mac Allister replacement - and pushing hard to get the player to agree a move after agreeing a €40M fee with Ajax - the issue is the demands of the player. West Ham fall in to broadly the same category where they should be able to agree a fee with Aja Ajax but perhaps not the player. Newcastle interest has gone. Ajax have identified a suitable replacement.

Jeremy Doku (RW) Bayern Munich turned their attention to him but have stepped back after being told an asking price by his agent that reflected Rennes paying over the odds for him - and Rennes do not consider him for sale. Aston Villa and Newcastle have a declared interest but I suspect it has gone from Newcastle now.. West Ham have made clear they can give him playing time which he may not get elsewhere. Liverpool had an interest in Doku when he was at Anderlecht. It was suggested to Arsenal that he would be a good replacement if they can off-load Pepe or Manchester City to replace Mahrez but they have been looking at others aswell. Offered to Chelsea as a Ziyech replacement.

Ian Maatsen (LB) Wanted by Burnley who have had an offer rejected. Discussed with Benfica during disciussions over another player. Other clubs, including West Ham, have spoken with his agent but not Chelsea who will not make a decision on his future until after pre-season.}

£5m difference between what we have offered Ajax and what they want for Kudus and he started tonight. Personally I think it's all smoke and mirrors. It will drag on and then Chelsea will buy him. It's like Monopoly with them! Question is, if the keep buying players are they going to have a fire sale at the end of the window?

The first signs that kudus deal may well not happen, "West Ham want Genk’s ‘magical’ assist king Mike Tresor if Mohammed Kudus move fails"? ROMA AND RBL are also very.keen
