It seems new report in France claims that we have made contact with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino over a potential return to the Premier League.

Oh my. If only we could get Pochettino. His philosophy is press and attack the opposition. A lot less of passing backwards or square across the pitch. I think we’d see an immediate improvement in the style of football and one that would suit Soucek, Benrahma and Bowen, so I’d expect they’d step up their game. We’d see a lot more of Scammaca and Paqueta. We can only pray for a miracle. I’d give Moyes a lift out of London if he needs one. No charge!

Yep I reckon that wolves result has seen MOYES get a stay of execution. I'm still not understanding the way we play, especially at home where we sit back and let teams come at us and try and catch the opposition on the counter attack? But hey, 3 points is 3 points so onwards to Anderlecht and then Fulham

I'm with you on this one. I know we won, but usually giving the opposition over 60% possession, especially at home is a recipe for disaster. A team with fully functioning strikers could've smashed us on Saturday.

There were sings of improvement though most definitely but I'm still not convinced that Moyes knows either his best starting XI or the best formation for the players he has at his disposal, which is a bit worrying.

Still, let's hope this victory is a kick start for the PL season and the team will gel in to the serious top 6 contenders that with the talent available - they should be.

Moyes, although incredibly defensive, deserves some slack. You all need to remember the state Pellegrini left us in. Since then we’ve come top 8 twice and reached semi final in Europe. We’ll never win anything with Moyes as he’s never won a thing, but what we’ll get is good players and a solid base.

Agree that it would be very desirable to get Pocchi. In fact even "Dick" Emery would be better to move us up to the next level; even if we are in the tope ten now.
