What a game Yarmelenko had for Ukraine last night! His goal was superb, the two touches to control then lob the Keeper were terrific, what a pity he didn’t perform like that for us?
Was a great Ukrainian performance from every player, obviously the countries awful situation must have given them a great incentive, they are all fighters like their nationals!

I think mostly not! My sympathy is firmly with the Ukrainian nation not just Yarmelenko, not necessarily for Footballing reasons but for humanitarian reasons, it would give their suffering people a massive lift to see their nation excel in any way? ⚒⚒⚒⚒

Sorry lads. I’m with Mo. Like the rest of you I want to see the Ukrainians have their spirits lifted in this tough time for them. However, Yarmalenko didn’t play well for us and hardly fitted in the Moyes “players have to work hard” category.
They already won Eurovision Song Contest because of their plight, because their song was woeful! Which made a mockery out of the contest. Albeit, it’s normally crap anyway. ???.
I think Moyes would have kept Yarmalenko had Yarmalenko demonstrated a willingness to put a shift in.
However, that’s just Yarmalenkos playing style and it’s hard to change at his age.
I wish him luck at another team.
