I hope to god that we identify the players we want and just go get them and STOP all this messing about with low bids just trying to cop a deal. Get the bloody scouting done properly, set the targets and go get em. Even if we only get one or two players at a time we will strengthen eventually which is what we should have been doing instead of trying to get bargains that nobody has heard of (and the very reason nobody has heard of them is cause they turn out to be garbage, yeah ok there are the odd exceptions but on the whole rubbish) . When you say "not going to cost £20m or more" are we talking £20m per player or total budget? Personally I reckon Maddison from Norwich would be a great buy. Ogbonna is apparently YET AGAIN A target for Fiorentina so why not swap for Kouma Babacar! let's be a bit savvy about this!
