HI fellas, UNLESS WH come up with a new, contract offer, we are NO LONGER in the running for Iheanacho, our figures are way out of line with the others involved, IRONMIKE.

well if Man City are not even willing to cover the fee and costs (wages, bonus etc) of the player for the 1 or 2 seasons in their buy back valuation then we should tell them to do one! . makes no financial sense!

It has been reported we have made a 8 million bid for Badou Ndiaye of Osmanlispor, he is 26 and plays as a attacking midfielder anywhere across the line he got 7 goals last season and he has said his next team is in the premier league and he is leaving Turkey.

How can other clubs of a similar stature/ league place (Palace. Leicester etc) be ahead of us? I don't understand why we are so far behind in our offers, what is going on!?

Let's not be too critical. The way MC want to deal with us is almost like a glorified loan deal. OK we don't lose too much but why should we be making signings that can be long term for the club. What would happen if he started banging in 24 goals a season for us? He would be worth £50m but we get squat if they bring him back to MC. That's not good business. If Leicester are willing to do that kind of business hats up to them. Do we need to continually compare ourselves against clubs?
Imagine if Spurs had made a similar deal with Gareth Bale. The club they purchased him from could have bought him back for snip and sold him to Real Madrid for £90m or whatever he cost them. Sorry lads, if it was my club I wouldn't be sign him either under those circumstances. Since when do we deal with clubs who dictate stupid terms like that.

I get what you're saying COYI64, but if we don't another club in a similar position will and it will strengthen them . It is a loan essentially and I personally don't think it's a bad deal considering the level of player. If it helps fire us into a European spot, long term it would help signing higher calibre of players.

Huddersfield are in talks with mounie so that'll be two strikers in one week, Lyon have signed traore and Mariano of Real Madrid so we could get giroud hopefully, it does say we have made an improved offer for ihenacho, but what o do know is that we need players and dgs have to prove to us they mean buisness.

Tommyhammer. I would love to have Ihneacho make no mistake about it. I would been like a loan deal. Unfortunately the club wants him permanently and if we cannot have him permanently but have to pay in excess of £20m upfront, then it should be to the benefit of the club and the deal being offered to WH is to the benefit of city only. They should either sell him to us or loan him to us at an annual fee. This is greediness in behalf of MC. Cake and eat it comes to mind. Sure another club will strengthen by having him if they agree to the deal. However, if ihneacho wasnt available in the first place, we would have to look at strengthening our team some other way right? This is what I believe we are trying to do.
Let's not get to down beat. We can uncover a jewell like we did with Lanzini and Payet. We had no competition for their signatures and we got them signed pretty quickly in my opinion. Giroud and Walcott up front would be awesome and if we did sign them, the subject of ihneacho would be forgotten in a matter of two games into the new season.
