Who is going to make way for Song when he returns. I'd like to think it would be Noble

From what I have seen so far from Bilic I think that Song will have to earn his place in the team rather than be parachuted straight in.

Hopefully this will mean that the other central midfielders we have will up their games accordingly.

id say that it would depend on how the team are playing aand how results are going if we are winning and playing well can't see song getting in the team of course if we have lost 2 or 3 on the bounce then it will change things if it was right now and I had to drop someone it would be noble though

Song will be given a chance in the same way Carroll has. He'll get 10-15 minutes off the bench in his first game back. Then he might get 20-30 minutes off the bench a week or two later. But he won't start a game until he is 100% fit, and it'll only be because he has earned his place.

Agree, its such a normal way to play when you have a good squad.

I really can't get out of my head when Sam took off Song (shaking his head) and put on Nolan in a match 2nd half of last season, I think it was to shore up the 0-0, but that just put the whole Team morale down big time.

Last season, as soon as Nolan (& Carroll to a lesser degree) got better, and were put straight back into the Team, around Xmas, we got worse :(

I don't expect that again.

I don't think noble will ever get dropped n kouyate is a good player so it's good to see players like song having to work hard 4 his place
