Celtic fan here,
With Carlton Cole on trial at Celtic would be grateful for some comments regarding the type of player he is etc .

He's a real grafter and can be a real physical handfulwill chase everything never really scored enough goals for us but I think he will do a good job for celtic-I support celtic as a kinda 2nd club through family and I'm not unhappy about this at all, can't fault the lads commitment even if sometimes the quality wasn't quite there in the premier league good L uck for the new season and a big hail hail from the east end!

He's an awesome bloke and like Redrobbo2 said, a real grafter. This guy will bleed for you. I think his physical presence and hard work will make him successful in Scotland and he will be a beast for the other clubs to deal with.
The good thing about Carlton is that, even when he's not getting playing time, he trains hard and just digs in without complaint.
If I was Celtic, I would sign him in a heartbeat.

Will work hard, will hold the ball up, can play well with his back to goal up front on his own, but will deceive with some magical moments but not enough goals to be top class. SPL he will likely do well.

Descent player but ever since he got his England cap he just went off it a bit, it's like he thought he could turn up n play well, if he rolls his sleeves up it wouldn't be a bad signing let's say
