Redrobbo and Phil1016 have to be two of the most negative people in the world. We have spent nigh on 30m. That's more than most prem teams so how dgs can be accused of not throwing funds to the club is ridiculous. Chill out and stop whining like babies people. This is West ham. We always do things thw hard way, but I'm sure things will turn around. Bilic will not get his team built in one window. It will take time. Look at how long it's taken lvg to get things his way at United with a much larger budget. At least give it till January before we get carried away

Out net spend is 20 million not 30 million the club made a 10 million profit last year and will make more this year due to better tv deal

Having said that if you actually read my post I wasn't saying anything about how much was spent but how it was spent

And Yeh sometimes I'm negative tijlve but that doesn't stop me and hasn't stopped me from supporting west ham for 35 years so as I've said before I do t need you to tell me when I can and when I can't voice my opinion thanks

I'd be really happy with squad for now if we get Moses and Ad'or.

One other thing I will add is this if it seems like I'm moaning it's because this is a transfer website so on here people dicuss what we need or what we need to get rid of there are plus points of course there are but at the moment we have mainly been discussing transfers or lack of on here so have given my opinion on that

Just like redrobbo I am 54 and have followed and supported my beloved hammers since I was 7. When I got my first job at the age of 17 I followed them all over the country and even when I was in the army posted overseas I still managed to get time to cone home and watch them. I therefore think I am time served and as its a bloody rumour site have every right to say what I believe. If you don't like don't read

This is the point, it's rumours, but these rumours are being treated as Gospel truth. Bids were putting in etc. No one really knows what and who we've bid for so there's no point getting wound up by.
We defo need a couple in but we're not the only team going for all the players we are after. It's competition to sign whoever we go for and sometimes it won't work out. In the past West ham been quick to throw big transfers and wages at a load of guff like dyer, Carroll, ljunberg etc. So understandable to take a more measured approach

Measured I can appreciate, however, our owners NEVER pay the full asking fee and this is the reason that the majority of the time we lose out. I'm all for haggling and negotiating, BUT, surely before we make a bid we should be asking what the sale price is and will the club move on the asking price. Instead, we ask for valuation and time after time approach with unrealistic offers. Yilmaz was available at A massive £6.6m SO WE BID £3.5m, then we bid £4.5m and then £5.5m!! Are you having a laugh! When we went to Forest for Antonio for a further example, surely we must have asked first if he was available and what they wanted (you can't tell me we just dived in with the offer of JARVIS AND £4.5m). Our owners KNEW EXACTLY what Forest were after (which am sure we now know) so if he was a long admired high priority target why didn;t we ask what else they would take and then make a counter offer. Its all rubbish.and we do it every window to save a few quid. How many other teams mess about like this? Southampton certainly don't and look at their squad compared to us (and we came up at the same time)

Southampton have raked in massive money which is why they have been able to pay fees, but they haven't spent that much. There net spend must be way lower than ours so not really a fair comparison.
Again we don't really know what and who we have bid for. My guess is some of these players we don't really believe will improve the first so don't want to spend the massive amounts clubs are quoting us. 6.6m for yilmaz is not a huge amount but take into account his age and untested outside of Turkey it's a risk. I wouldn't want there job to be honest. Everyone has there different ideas so can't please everyone but everythings a gamble on a restricted budget

First four games we'd have taken six points if offered against who we played so let's get behind the boys but please not adebayor COYI
