As we were saying about the way our board do business: Read the following about Burak Yilmaz:


Burak Yilmaz has revealed that he would be very open to a move to West Ham United, with The Hammers allegedly so keen that they've already made two bids to bring the 30-year-old striker to the Premier League. However, both have been rejected.

But despite that, Yilmaz is viewed higher than the other strikers they've been linked with - Emmanuel Adebayor, Javier Hernandez and so on - and Slaven Bilic is still fond of the idea of completing a deal for the Galatasaray striker.



Although, if they want to finalise the transfer, they'll have to do it without the help of the striker, who says he won't force a move. He's got a good thing going at Galatasaray, and is a prolific scorer, meaning he doesn't want to wreak relationships in case something goes wrong.

Quoted by Turkish Eurosport, the former Trabzonspor man said: "If I am bought I could go to West Ham but I would never make a declaration that I want to leave. Would be unfair in front of our fans."

Yilmaz has spent the last three seasons playing for the Istanbul-based club, and has won several trophies during his time with one of Turkey's premier sides. However, now 30, his chances of playing outside of Turkey are dwindling with each passing season, and a move to Upton Park may be his last chance.

His agent also commented on a potential move, saying: "Burak Yilmaz wants to leave and if €9 million [£6.6 million] is bid, we will approve the sale."

Slaven Bilic's team have previously bid £3.5 million and £5 million, neither of which satisfied the Turkish team.

As always in true West Ham fashion they've told us they want £6.6m and we keep under bidding. TYPICAL and then we wonder why we miss out. and Spurs or Everton will bid £6.6m and get him from under our noses

Once the window closes, Bilic needs to make his mind up on HIS FORMATION and HIS STARTING 11and stick with his convictions, win, lose or draw.
He must now know that NOLAN is past his prime, as is Noble, Tomkins, JARVIS and MAIGA.

His starting 11 will obviously be ADRIAN
Defenders?? Reid for sure and then its up for grabs.
Midfielders??? Kouyate has to be there, with OBIANG
And hopefully Yilmaz up front with Payet behind him, two wingers

Phil I keep telling you third bid for yilmaz went in on Sunday morning 9 m euros, don't believe ALL you read in the press, that may not be enough, but wh are not going to go any higher on this one regards. IRONMIKE

9 Million Euros equates to about £6.6 pounds which matches the asking price (according to his agent) so I don't see any reason why this deal should not go through.

Hi Mike our board do realise that with no strikers we will get relegated don't they? We are now in such a desperate state we may have to pay the extra that DGS deem to be too much, or face the consequences of our first game in OS as a championship side. Let's not forget they have a long history of overseeing relegation whilst at the blue noses and once with us

West Ham bid
Jose Mourinho wants to offload Victor Moses before Sept 01. It’s believed West Ham have already submitted an offer worth £6million for the forward, though his club are keen to negotiate a fee closer to £10m if possible (typically we bid well under the asking price and will lose out to spurs)

From what I heard from the Turkish end of things ironmike galatasaray won't accept any bids for him as they haven't time to get a replacement now and with fenerbache signing RVP they don't want to look like they will fall behind their rivals like I say this is just what I heard not sure if it's 100 per cent right or not though

Might get this Forest winger but we need real quality. Personally resigned to no Song and no additional exciting players that will take us forward . Mentioned before for me 2x striker a winger Song and a backup RB . the attacking part of that has to quality not loans or cheap buys or that mercenary Adebayor . but can already hear the same old we tried and tried but couldn't get anything done . 15th if we are lucky with current lot .

Could be Gerry, It's hard for me to make the fellas happy! As there seems to be a lot of tooing and froing , with this one that one, but very hard to nail, who it is they are going for at this time I could name twenty five players, that are in the firing line , if I believed everything I hear, West Ham have spent. A lot of time enquiring after players that were never going to come, that's for sure, underbidding is only part of it, , there's much more, IRONMIKE
