HI fellas, second bid for yilmaz has just been rejected, we shall see if wh go back again, negredo looks like seville might be his destination, and the mystery of robert green continues, last night it was agreed between the clubs, but not personal terms, so maybe this has gone awry somewhere, whatever happens here and I hope we do sign green. It was always a little late, for tomorrow's game,, it does not look on for vanden boore at this moment, I can see song being signed next week, green is a maybe,, striker, winger, right back, it's getting late in the day for that many now, It is a little disappointing at this time. But who knows what could happen in the last week of the market, IRONMIKE

Ironmike, I know it's sounds completely absurd, I do believe that we will go in for Austin at some point.

I heard this afternoon, that another club, are going to make lower bid for austin. Believed to be sub 10 m, maybe Bournemouth or WBA We shall see, but would he go there?? It's my own view that wh went in far too low with their proposal. Maybe it was intentional , I don't know David Sullivan should not be talking about another clubs player anyway irregardless of what he or wh think , it was irrational and silly, obviously even the charlie austin fans like yourself, can agree with what I have been saying from the off, he is arisk, But I do believe had we not had these problems with Carroll who is a bad example, austin would now be awest ham player, for sure, but it now looks very unlikely, IRONMIKE

Contrary to popular belief (as I have said before) I don't think there will be any further signings after Song. They will take a gamble on Carroll's fitness and use Tomkins as back up RB. I believe foolishly they will also gamble on Randolph for the odd games that Adrian misses, but our squad is better but smaller than it was last season as Cole, Demel, Downing, Jaaskelainen, Morrison & Nene along with lots of reserves have gone from the squad and just Hendrie, Obiang, Ogbonna, Payet & Randolph added.

A risk who has played over 30 games per season over the last 4 seasons. I think it is worth taking along with thousands of other hammers fans. If Sullivan thinks he is cursed with forwards with injury, then perhaps he could put a golie up top.

Looking at the betting sights most still have wh near the same odds to sign Austin?. Come on DGS give the fans what they want.

I have said this before, I feel there is something not quite right with Austin as what premiership team doesn't want (potentially) a 20+ goal a season striker yet no takers, strange, very strange!
Be very careful what you wish for as lots of fans wanted Barton, he wasn't signed due to objections in the dressing room,

Yes Gerry but everybody knows what character Barton is. All pundits and professionals have nothing but praise for the character and professionalism of Austin, there is a world of difference.

Gerry, I'm with you. if he was that good with no risks someone would have snapped him up.

I repeat there must be a reason why NO ONE is in for a 20+ goal a season striker, don't give me dodgy knees etc because 15M to Chelsea, Man U, City etc is peanuts and not much of a gamble for them. Chelsea sign Pedro (not proven in Prem obviously) and Man U need a striker but do go for Austin, why?

Pedro has proven CL quality though Austin doesn't plus by buying him Chelsea stopped man u from getting him. more worrying for me is why are e being linked with every play from a team that got relegated barton,Austin, fer,Vargas and green lol

I will tell you why Gerry it's quite simple. Pedro is a world cup and champions league cup winner and has played for th e best team of all time. Where as poor old charlie Austin has come from the poor lower leagues! And people are prejudice for that reason. If he had a sexy south American name like Hernandez from man U, who is proven to be poor then you would be hoping to sign him. Simple

As u rightly point out Gerry something ain't right yes he did bang in the goals last season his movement on and of the ball was good last season of. If Austin does have a medical problem clubs will only expose themselves to a certain amount of risk due to not being able to get insurance for the player ie demba ba
