Hi Phil, Jimenez is about 25/26 and reputedly valued at around 7Million, I have watched lots of video and he looks decent, I don't think he would set the Prem on fire but he would certainly be an interesting addition.

Don't get me wrong Phil, I follow West Ham through thick and thin. I am not a "when the going is good" fan.

This being said. am I going to be happy with the signing of a player that has a scoring ratio of 1 in 21 games? With that logic we might as well keep Maiga.

I want West Ham to add one or two QUALITY players rather than just plump up the squad with average players.

What' wrong with that?

How many games did he start? How many minutes did he play? It's all statistics, if you come off the bench for the last 20, 10, or 5 mins it can look bad for you, Mandzukic was their main striker last year, how often was this guy on the pitch. let's just trust SB, he seems to know what he wants

Agree kev :) stats are paper. but like the famous ironmike once said. unfortunately we play on grass ^^ that guy is actually decent for that amount of money

Well after Collins came out and said West Ham have to be more clever if we're going to progress in Europe we have to be disciplined. then gets sent off after 2 bookings in 5 mins another poor performance were clearly not ready to play in Europe and compete in the prem .need at least 2 more in midfield (I know Phil won't agree lol) Nolan noble Jarvis analfitano payet poyet koyoute lanzini obiang not enough . Nolan (finished ) noble(not good enough) Jarvis (not good enough) amalfitano(squad player at best ) payet (looks class unproven) poyet (not ready ) koyoute (class) lanzini(unproven) obiang (unproven) get song and mirralles signed . the Blackburn striker who keeps Rhodes out of the team would be a good 4th striker (can't remember his name but I know villa are looking at him )
