Eds any truth in the media story of Andy Carroll wanting to leave

Morning all. I've just been reading the latest news articles and apparently Andy carroll will now NOT play any prt in the pre season friendlies in New Zealand because of, wait for it, an ankle injury?

I don;t know about the rest of you people but patience is running very thin with this fella. This guy gets paid ridiculous amounts of money a week (which may I add is paid for by us) and clearly he isn;t going to be ready for the new season at this rate.

I believe that despite what he says, he doesn;t deserve to play for a great club like ours and I for one would be happy to see the back of him.

Bring In Valencia and make Carroll sit in the pub (sorry, I meant dugout).

Isn;t he supposed to be a professional nd look after hmself.

Let's play him out in New Zealand and makesire he is injured! You people are brainless sometimes, no point in risking platers in a friendly the other side of the world

Mauro Zarate scored his first West Ham goal in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Wellington Phoenix at Eden Park on Wednesday.

The Hammers began their Football United Tour with a loss in Auckland, against a Phoenix team that finished ninth in the 10-team A-League last season.

New signings Aaron Cresswell and Cheikhou Kouyate were both named in the starting line-up by Sam Allardyce, with Winston Reid captaining the team in the city of his birth

I agree it's the same story as last season and he seems to have a constant injury I say let's cash in and spend the money where needed and after watching today's game I say a back up keeper a right back a winger are a must

Guy please don't get too upset with a friendly loss to a League team yes we prefer a win yes where dissapointed but better now than the season proper , so keep your chins up we will be fine a couple more signings in central mid and in defence and maybe a keeper

Obviously Any rroll's injury is a bit worse than first thought because Sam is looking at Traore as a back up plan. I reckon he can't do any worse so go get him and turn Carroll into glue

It's all very well saying cash in, but no one, including Newcastle, has made any sort of enquiry, and, with his injury record, do you think anyone would offer anything near £15 mill. No chance.
