We may well have missed out on two other attacking targets because Moyes was so confident Lingard was coming.

Arnaut Danjuma and Keane Lewis-Potter are players who would have improved us, but Lingard was the one Moyes put his faith in and look where that got them?

As we have said before, gold and Sullivan are businessmen and very successful with it, why would anyone pay over the top for lingard, they made an offer and he went for the bigger offer which will affect his England chances as he is going to be part of a struggling team.

Let’s get behind the board and stop criticising, if anyone here can do better then put your money where your mouths are and buy them out and invest your money, mistakes will always be made but if it is your business then the decisions become that much harder

?Dabber, been a massive fan since I was old enough to understand and play the game, was going to the Boleyn from about 1959 when I first started to work as a 15yr old. Upton Park station was only 5 stops away on the District Line as I lived in Dagenham as a kid! So like a lot of have seen massive disappointments and hopes fade just like our “ Bubbles” song! I hate both sullivan and gold due to all the lies they've told us
To you guys it maybe a business but to most of us its not because if it was we would just follow the most successful team
Bring in the players we need and you promised when you sold our home

Then get a syndicate together, buy out gold and Sullivan and away you go, I will support West Ham whoever is in charge and I am sure you would make good and poor decisions but I will still be there supporting, we are West Ham and we will always be the same team that pulls of the shocks and slips up against lower league teams and that is why we support them.
Find a Man City or a Newcastle owner, throw money at the team and lose our identity if that’s what we want, sometimes it’s better the devil you know, was only a dozen years ago we were nearly skint, gold and Sullivan steadied the ship so we are not in a bad place.

I was elated when they came from Birmingham to us, no matter who, have invested £millions in any business, are not there to let the employees or fans in our case run the club, yes we all help to keep the club afloat by paying to watch, but if we don’t like what is supposedly going on, don’t go, simple imo! Nobody knows the intimate details involved, you need skin thicker than a bloody Rhino, to sit in a box watching, then having disgraceful abuse screamed at you, when they have invested £millions for our pleasure as well as their own business!

As you said its a business to them they take fortunes in interest payments the money the made on the ground and guess what we don't own a ground anymore
