My worry with this window is that we have just had quite a reduction in the size of our already small sqaud and we don't seem to be in too much of a hurry to do anything about it? Yarmolenko, Fredericks, Kral, Noble all gone, possibly Darren Randolph, Nikola Vlašić, Arthur Masuaku, ISSA Diop leaving. Areola has come in and Aguerd but not much else of worth? Time they pull their fingers out and get a shift on or will it be the usual last week, last day failures and then feed the fans some rubbish about how hard they tried, as per the Jan window when they chased Lingard the entire window

You are simply the most negative supporter. Again, put your neck on the line. Suggest some players as a solution rather than simply complaining. It would indicate to me you don’t have a solution. I don’t mind fans having a moan, but offer a name or someone you would bring in. Let’s see what you know.

Sorry but I agree with MAINLANDER, they have had since January to sign foreign players that will be free agents, nothing. They have had since January to identify players they want to sign in this window and one addition to the squad (Areola excluded as he was in squad already)so that means we are 3 down on the wafer thin squad we had last year. 18 months to sign a Haller replacement. No MikesIron I am not a negative supporter, I am a season ticket holder and a realist who sees the likes of Villa getting their deals done early, so the new players can bond and join pre season and can see us waiting till the last week to pick up bargain basement signings. I hope I am proved wrong and have to eat humble pie I really do. Every window is the same, Newman has made absolutely no difference!

Spot on gerryp we do this every single time before pre season and after 55 years of supporting west ham not just a fan but a supporter hard earned money I know its my choice but come on its broken promises that I can't tolerate when we move to the London stadium we will change top four teams not my words but Sully's guote he is nothing but a control freak and the quicker he sells the club to owners that have west ham interest at heart like us die hard supporters the better I know we got into a semifinal of the cup and finished 7th in the league but we were very lucky playing Russian roulette by selling HALLER and not replacing him we won't get lucky again playing a right back turned winger turned striker again so get our transfer dealings done before pre season I understand its difficult to get deals done but look at villa and spurs they don't seem to have any issues and its all down to not paying the asking price and trying to get players on the cheap what we do every window and its time to put up or shut up with silly predictions sully

I agree with Mikesiron, patience. They haven’t had since January as a lot of foreign signings are contingent on what European competition you are playing in, if any at all. They have targets and options and are going about the business. Have a look at Man Utd ended up Europa League and their targets no longer want to go there. Villa and Newcastle are getting on with it but everyone knew where they would be and what Newcastle would be doing over the next couple of seasons. Man City and Liverpool don’t have to sell anything, we do. Patience we are in a position where targets changed, not quite top echelon, but best of the rest for a couple of seasons. We need to sell something but also find players that will improve us not just pad us out.

I AGREE with mainlander and think the issue here is that we all know by now how our management works but what always seems to happen is that we scatter gun one position. Spurs have today bought richarlison, already bought bissouma and perisic. That's a sign of ambition. We get frustrated because we were promised the world and as such wr want to see.things done. Every.window we mess about. Look at January window. We reported to have bid £50m for Phillips that Leeds no nothing about. How long did it take to sign aguerd? Its all BS.

Spurs are in Champions League it is a bit easier for them to go after targets than us so no comparison.

Bassey LB Rangers
Lewis Potter LW Hull
O'Brian CM Huddersfield
Lassina Traore S shatkar
Realistic Targets for probley 80m max

How much are you paying for each? Don’t understand why everyone jumped on the Bassey bandwagon after 1 good game in the Europa League last year. Possibly Traoré as a left field option, still don’t see him as someone who will elevate us to the next level. The boy from Hull we have already been credited with an interest. O’Brian, again not the player to take us to the next level. Poor effort. NEXT

Pretty confident that isn’t the response you intended to post so I will hold fire on my reply. ^^

Just to clarify, to get none, if any change from your list of 4, out of £80M, sure wouldn’t have you managing my finances.

MikesIron I tend to agree with you there are far too many negative glass half empty “supporters” on here that spend every transfer window whinging about how other clubs are out performing us in the transfer market and getting their business done whilst we mess around. Look back at last Summers transfer window and the same people were whinging that Aston Villa and Everton were getting business done whilst we weren’t and what happened, both finished beneath us! People need to appreciate funds are tight unless we sell Rice or Bowen. Lingard is free and would improve us, Moyes is right to keep pushing until the deal is done or he goes somewhere else. I won't name names but certain people on here need to change allegiance to Manchester Utd and see what it’s really like supporting a club with bad owners and in the depths of despair!

ST - Gianluca Scamacca - Anything south of £40M would be good
LB - Luca Pellegrini - £10M
CDM - Florian Grillitsch - Free
LW/Utility - Maxwel Cornet - £17M
CAM/RW/LW - Charly Musonda - Free. Was going to be a fantastic player until a serious knee injury curtailed him for about 3 years. Released by Chelsea but back to fitness - has very little match practice though, he would be a total punt but one that carries little risk and potentially a big reward.
